Good communication, but use another delivery service than UPS
Novus always communicated proactively about the status of my order. However, until today I did not yet receive my package, because UPS tried to deliver it, but I was not at home. They left a note that I can pick it up at a delivery shop. Nevertheless, they tried to deliver it during working hours the next day and consequently I was not at home again. The day after I went to the mentioned pick-up point, where I was told that this pick-up point does not work with UPS already a while ago. After checking with UPS, I found out that the package went back to the central delivery point. After I changed the delivery address to a currently active delivery point online (only after registration), the package is now supposedly there for pick-up. I'll see whether this is true tomorrow. All in all, UPS (which unfortunately is the delivery firm working for Novus) cost me more than one hour of my time to get a simple package into my hands (in which it is not yet, by the way). A worst-practice experience and I very much recommend Novus to switch to DHL. I never had such problems with them, because they at least do not write non-existing pick-up points on the note cards...
