First time I used Dutch Expat Shop and I was delighted to see that the items that I ordered on a Saturday evening arrived within 12 days. Dutch Expat Shop and the carrier between them kept me well informed of the status of my order.

Love chocolate letters. Coffee cream good but expensive. Postage too much. But was a treat

I have started ordering milk chocolate letters from this shop, which is the only store I’ve found that ships to my country. I used to have Dutch relatives that would send us chocolate letters every Christmas but they are unfortunately not with us anymore and I can finally eat my favorite childhood Christmas treat again! So grateful

I was pleased with the service and range of items available. You brought Sinterklaas to England for my children, so thank you. It would have been good to have received more information regarding order confirmation and dispatch date to give confidence that the order is being worked on and when it will be shipped. The large speculaas biscuits were protected in carboard but were still broken into several pieces. Not a problem as that's how we will eat it! But maybe it could be a problem for other items for other people. Overall I would certainly return and use again. Many thanks.

Long time before dispatch due to NO STOCK, order delayed with customs due to missing packing list. I notice a decreasing service level in the last year. Prices remaining quite high and I expect better service. Assortiment could be wider

This was my second order with Dutch Expat, and to say I am impressed the way things are wrapped and placed in the boxes, is an understatement. You can tell a lot of care goes into packaging everything up; nothing was broken, and even the chip bags weren't popped open. The reason I did not give a full 5 stars is that I had ordered cheese, but it was on backorder (which I was not told), and I waited for 2.5 weeks for the order to ship. This was odd, since my first order shipped within 2 days. I contacted Dutch Expat, and they explained they were waiting for the cheese to arrive. I told them to cancel the cheese and just ship the order, which they did, refunding the cheese and shipped the rest of the order within 2 days. Perhaps in the future, let customers know an item is on backorder to give them a chance to cancel or change the order. Other than that everything was excellent!

Have emailed them 4 times in 2 weeks about my package being held up in customs and never received any response back. Going to have to put in a claim now to get my money back since package is listed still in customs and does not look like it will be delivered since its been almost 4 weeks since the order.

I placed my order about a month ago and haven't receive it yet, with no responses form the Dutch Expat Shop team and without tracking information of my order.

I selected the option of a substitution if the item I had purchased wasn't available but was refunded instead. The item was candy for Sinterklaas and I was refunded even though there are several candy option still in stock under the 'Sinterklaas sweets' tab and even though I wrote customer service and explained that I didn't mind paying more as long as I got some candy for our Sinterklaas celebrations. Everything else was good. I got the package quickly to Sweden and it was well packaged.

I order with Dutch Expat Shop every year, and they have always been quick to process and send my order. The products are packaged carefully and are of good quality. We would recommend them!

Voorverpakte kaas en hagelslag naar Canada gestuurd. Verplicht hoge kosten voor een koelelement. Desondanks kwam de kaas niet aan (er zat geen briefje van de douane bij, dus daar is de kaas niet weggehaald). Nul reactie van klantenservice

Helaas zal ik niet iets naar USA laten verzenden, want er ging iets mis met bepaalde producten. Ik denk door strengere regels die mij niet bekend zijn. Sinterklaaslekkernijen werden of verwijderd of ingepikt , het pakje was beschadigd, met tape dichtgeplakt.

Problemen met DHL m.b.t. de import in Amerika. Moest alsnog 35 euro bij betalen anders werd het niet geleverd. En de vervoerskosten waren toch al belachelijk hoog. Er was ook 1 artikel niet meegeleverd. Ik weet niet of dat door jullie is vergeten of dat door de douane eruit is gehaald. Dit was toch een teleurstellende ervaring!

Twee eerdere bestellingen met bevroren goederen kwamen gesmolten aan. Deze keer is het wel goed gegaan. Zeer tevreden klant.

Voor mijn expat-vrienden in Portugal was ik op zoek naar Nederlandse drop. Om dit vanuit Nederland op te sturen was een heel gedoe geweest en veel te duur. Gelukkig was Dutch Expat Shop er! Zij hadden precies wat ik zocht en leverden voor de deur van mijn vrienden voor een schappelijke prijs! Top!

I never got my package. I got an urgent call from FedEx saying the box was in the US but I had to fill out a long customs form to tell them what was in the box within 24 hours or the package would not be delivered and sent back to the seller. Fed Ex sent me a "step-by-step" sheet because it was so complicated. I was at work and couldn't complete this, and the only items in the box were chocolate, deodorant, and toothpaste, and already detailed by Expat Shop. I get numerous packages from overseas without this happening. I'm sorry for the Dutch Expat Shop too but why was this so complicated for the buyer?
