Easy ordering and quick delivery. One bottle of ketap was broken on arrival, but that is out of your control. Luckyly all items are very well wraped so it did not damage other products.

After years of not being able to buy Pisang Ambon in the US, I found the Dutch Expat shop and was able to purchase my favorite drink. The service was fantastic. The communication was great, and the bottles arrived well-packed and safe. It was expensive, but I knew exactly what I was paying--no surprises.

At last, after 4 years of trying, I have found the sauces online which I used to love bringing home from Belgium. I can no longer travel but my chips will taste wonderful again with Andalouse Sauce amongst others. My daughter is happy too. A No hassle purchase. Thank You

rapid turnover and service

I ordered chocolates, which arrived in excellent condition. I am happy to pay full price for them. However, I am not happy with shipping costs that are very high, and which did not include import taxes. So I had to pay a significant amount for shipping (about the same as the total cost of the chocolates), and then pay taxes on top of that (which included a "service fee" of nearly $20 that DHL listed on their itemized tax form).

Very good experience, quick answer to my questions concerning my order, order was delivered the day i was told it would. The restaurant were i work might even be interested on ordering bitterballen on a more large level. Could you tell me if that is possible and what the shipment costs would be if they order for exemple 50 items of Mora bitterballen (50 pieces packages)?

The package has no protection inside, the item I received leaked all over.

You’re Dutch or Belgium you live abroad and miss some of the products you grew up with. Go to The Dutch Expat Shop. Great selection of products almost like three different supermarkets in one. You pick, mix and pay a reasonable price (as long as you understand that transport cost money too). Within a maximum of 5 days your order will be at your doorstep. A great service, and I can highly recommend it. Website is in need of some improvement but other than that go for it.

All my products were available, dispatched quickly and arrived in tip tip condition. Will be placing another order soon Mike

Ordering is straight forward. Items are packed appropriately and delivery is on time.

I’ve always had great experience in the past in ordering and receiving baby formula. Thinking that I was going to get the same service, I returned for their service. This time, I have not received my purchase. I’ve received email confirming my order and the shipment status in a timely manner. However, the shipment status said that the product was shipped DHL. I got another email that said PostNL received my package and had arrived to the country. I’ve never heard of PostNL in USA and the promised date was March 1-7. The product never came in and there was no update on the shipment status. I’ve contacted customer service via email and have not heard back in a timely matter. From the time of order until now is almost 1 month. This was not the same experience that I had in the past, where the order will come in within the week of purchase. I’m hoping that this review will expedite the response to my emailed concern.

It was easy to find what I wanted and the prices were reasonable. Surprising the shipping was so fast and everything was packaged very well for a long transit. Thank you!

Amazing. Just amazing. I love Dutch food and snacks- but the majority isn't avaliable oversees, which is a shame. With Dutch Expat everything can easily be just delivered to your front door. Within a week ! (Depends on your country's mail service honestly) Although it can be a BIT expensive, to be able to get everything I love is nothing short but amazing, no site comes close as good and reliable as this one.
