International Order Issues
Hi,
I am abroad and tried to order flowers on 14th Feb. I used to order from this place and never got any issue before, but my orders were all cancelled on 14th Feb. My 1st order seemed to go through but I never actually received any confirmation email and a couple of hours later, my order was indicated "cancelled". I figured out they were probably too busy on Valentine's day so I gave up. I then tried on the 15th and 16th, and it was still the same, not going through or order was quickly cancelled. In the end, I ordered from another online flower shop and did not have any issue, confirming that amsterdamflowers.nl had a problem with their site or payment platform.
I sent the company an email to let them know what had happened to my orders and I got a vague answer with apologies but no explanation on why this happened. In the answer, I was only told to "try again later". I do not think it should be to the customer to verify they have fixed the issue with their site but I rather believe they should fix the problem and inform the customer when it is done and working again.
All I know is it was working flawlessly before they changed their payment platform provider. So, I suspect that's where the issue comes from. They should take this issue to the payment platform and ask them to fix it asap, that is if they do care about their international clients...
