We're sorry to hear your package didn't arrive safely. We're known for packing our packages carefully to ensure everything arrives safely. Unfortunately, we've experienced several instances where customs in India empty all the boxes for inspection and then don't properly pack the packages with the protective materials we use, putting the items back in the boxes without any protection. Unfortunately, we have no control over the customs process. Customers from India have filed a complaint with their local customs office and received compensation. Perhaps you can do the same.

I had an issue with some of my ordered products (as two product were damaged), but directly after complaining to Real Dutch Food it was satisfactory resolved and a refund was made.

One box with peanutebutter sause was damaged and spilled/wasted as well as one bag with prawn chips was open and therefore without air and not fresh anymore.

I live in Poland and finding many Dutch products here is not easy. And many are really great, my favourites are some soups, as well as spices, especially mixes for fish (makes sense with the Netherlands location), as well as say spicy chicken. I used to buy from a German shop (on the Dutch border) but lately many stuff there is out of stock, so I found this one. Shipping to the EU is cheap, prices of goods are nice and shipping is fast. So I really recommend it.

12 bottles of Affligem beer took nearly 3 weeks (18 days) to deliver to London from Holland. From the date of order 5th June it wasn't "shipped" [sic] until 16th June and only then after I sent a chaser asking "what's gong on?" Assuming RDF had forgotten the order. I was given a religious reason due to a Pentecost holiday which is one day. Not very plausible. So add mendacity to the delay. In addition the Royal Mail delivery who received the package from NLPost didn't deliver to my door pretending I was out when I wasn't so I had to collect from a post office. Had I known it would take so long I would have gone local. Or not bought at all. Blame Brexit for part of the delay but after the order there's not much communication from RDF and patient customers are left with a standard link to NL Post which is not what the customer needs.
Sorry to hear that you are not satisfied. However, you should state the facts correctly. Your order was on the 5th. Your package was sent to you on the 10th. Unfortunately, PostNL had a lot of delays that week due to a holiday and busy times, this was also clearly visible on the PostNL track and trace page. You picked up your package at the post office on the 20th. So the total duration was 2 weeks and 1 day and not 3 weeks. Furthermore, we are still well within the shipping period that we indicate on our website. The shipping information states that we have 2-5 working days to order and pack the items and that shipping from the time of collection by PostNL is 7-20 working days outside the EU. Your package only took 9 working days in total and that is quite fast for a shipment outside the EU.

I have waited on this order for over 3 weeks and still haven’t received it. Called and left messages no response. Email the company and no response. Now they have the audacity to ask for a review. Expensive with overpriced shipping cost with no support when they mess up. Has scam written all over it.
Thank you for your review. We don’t have any email from you I our system only the order that you made and there are no email in out system from you. Your parcel was shipped to you on the 13th and Post NL send it to the US on 18th. then you have to wait until the local customs processes and releases the package. We and the post have no influence on this. The package has been processed by customs since yesterday, normally the clearance is quick after which it will be delivered to you. The package is going according to schedule. We have a processing period of 3-5 working days to order and pack the items and shipping outside the EU normally takes 7-20 working days from shipping. We are still well within the period and expect that your package has been delivered today. Shipping not overpriced the shipping costs are the actual costs that we have to pay to PostNL. The normal PostNL shipping costs for the US are even higher than those we charge We are certainly not a scam and have been around for almost 20 years and always respond to an email within 24 hours. Could you forward the emails sent so that IT can look into this?
