The service from the site self was excellent. However, I do wish they would not make use of PostNL. PostNL never even made it to my house. I decided to work from home on the delivery, with my study overlooking the front door. PostNL never came by my house that day although I got a message saying that they missed me. I then had to collect my package at a postNL point not even remotely close to my home.

Superschnelle Bearbeitung und Lieferung der Bestellung. Ich war erst skeptisch, wegen der Bestellung im Ausland. Der gewünschte Whisky war aber nur hier zu haben. Fazit: Gerne wieder.

I recently purchased a bottle of Bruichladdich 26 Year Old 1994 Black Art 08.1 from whiskysite.nl and not only the bottle was overpriced, but the international shipping is also outrageously expensive - and very, very slow. For the sake of transparency, here is a cost comparison with a French website, buying the same whisky with international shipping as well. On whiskysite.nl: Bruichladdich Black Art 08.1 - 389,99€ International shipping - 34,95€ On monwhisky.fr: Bruichladdich Black Art 08.1 - 350,00€ International shipping - 0€ (when more than 300€) So in total, I could have saved 74,94€ if I purchased exactly the same item on monwhisky.fr. On top of this, the shipping on whiskysite.nl with postNL was the slowest I've seen to date. It took more than double the expected time to arrive and on the day it was supposed to be delivered, it was still in the Netherlands. Shipping with DHL is cheaper and much, much faster. When asked about this delay, whiskysite.nl simply replied with the tracking information I could already see in postNL, which added no value whatsoever. In conclusion, I don't recommend buying in whiskysite.nl. Search for German and French websites instead, they have an equally large product catalog and much lower prices on both products and shipping.
