No delivery after 5 months, customer service is stalling, dishonest and deceptive
I unfortunately have to warn about placing an order with doublepoint based on my experience in the past months.
I have placed my order for an AVR on August 13 2025 with an initial delivery time of one month. On the status page of my order the delivery time was postponed again and again so I assumed there are issues with getting the product from the manufacturer, which is something the vendor does not always have control over.
When the status updates stopped I reached out via mail for the first time on December 11. I was offered a paid upgrade to another AVR that was supposed to be in stock for an additional fee (I later found out that other customers were offered the same, but without the additional fee), which I paid right away and was guaranteed that the product would be shipped absolutely latest on December 19.
Since then I have asked for a tracking number multiple times, which is being ignored by the customer service for more than two weeks now. They will only update the status on the internal order status page manually, to deceive the customers to think that some kind of progress is being made, but in reality nothing happens at all. Sometimes the customer service will even blatantly lie, just to be left alone for a couple of days, which is not an acceptable way to do business in my opinion.
In all my exchanges with doublepoint I have been friendly and respectful, but this has unfortunately not been rewarded at all. In the meantime they have completely stopped to answer my inquiries.
I will now have to reach out to my legal insurance to get this resolved. It is incredible how much time I have already wasted with doublepoint and looking at how many customers struggle to get a refund, I am afraid that this is far from over yet.
