Having selected our accommodation ourselves we were able to select a prime location early in the year and look forward to the day when we could commence our family holiday. Having stayed before we were able to maximise our time and enjoy every minute of our week long adventure....safe in the knowledge that the staff and security were able to make sure that we had no worries about anything.

When checking in at 3pm for the keys we found the process slower than usual....

This is our second stay at Duinrell and it was great! Everything is really convenient for a family and something for children (both small and grown up!) Great local amenities and everything is clean and well looked after. We're already planning on coming back!

Changing facilities in the pool were limited and it was tricky changing small children with only two family rooms. Also the in/our system meant you couldn't pop out to grab something from a locker without somebody trying to get in from the other side. Minor niggles though.

Can’t fault duinrell, returned for a third time, this time with our Labrador in tow, think she had the best time of all of us, we hadn’t explored the woods before and spent many happy hours walking in the dunes with her, The children enjoyed the park, always felt safe and spotlessly clean, and the improved tikibad. What’s not to love?

Have been holidaying here for years, so much to do for all ages. My children are now teenagers and still look forward to spending our vacation time in Duinrell.

We loved our stay at Duinrell! We are a family of four (2 children under 10) and found this to be one of our favourite holidays ever. The accommodation was excellent - clean, tidy, comfortable and well-equipped. The campsite was likewise clean and tidy, with plenty to do and see. We especially enjoyed using the Tiki Pool and the theme park, both of which we went to everyday for a week - there was no chance of getting bored! We also attended three of the evening entertainment shows, which were great fun, family-friendly and very well performed by the entertainment team. The location of Duinrell is also a positive - situated next to a charming Dutch town with places to shop and eat, with other lovely towns and cities only a short distance away. We would definitely visit Duinrell again.

There needs to be a more organised way of handling the queues for the entertainment shows so that people can gain entrance in a fair way according to the time they turned up to wait - this was not always the way and there was no system of stopping people doing whatever they liked when they arrived. Perhaps a temporary cordon that can be put there an hour before shows or something like that.

Stayed in a gorgeous spacious duingalow. The kids had the best holiday ever and, as a result, we did too! We'll definitely be returning next year. Between the amusement park (with a great variety of rides and fun to be had without queues or payment!!) as well as the daily trip to the slide park, cycling around the park and to the local village, we just could not have asked for more. We had a nice balance between eating out on the park or nearby and cooking in the Duingalow which helped balance the budget and kept us a bit healthier too! Can't recommend it enough!

I'd like to say more variety in on-site restaurants but then my kids would go for pizza every time anyway!!

Great fun for all the family. Caravan sites nice and big. So much to see and so. Cycle Center very helpful when hiring bikes for my parents.

Drains in Camping area behind the glamming tents were very smelly!

The site was amazing and staff were great, the pitches were clean and the facilities were plentyful, evening entertainment and children clubs were sublime I can't wait to come back and spend more family time.

There wasn't much grass but I think that was because of the low rainfall. Maybe there should have been a plan to water the pitches to keep the sand at bay somehow

We stayed in premium duingalow for 4 persons and the accommodation was spotless. A beautiful shower, fully functioning kitchen and the beds were very comfortable and clean. We stayed for a week and with a few trips out to neighbouring towns/cities We had something to do everyday. The tiki pool was the highlight with a six year old who couldn’t get enough. The theme park was perfect for our 6 year old and would highly recommend.

More selection of food for the evenings would be ideal as we stayed out of season and there was only one restaurant open.

First class holiday facility. Dungalows perfectly formed, hiring bikes makes for a lovely activity based holiday. Tiki bad and Amusment park on site. On site shops very convenient.

Reinforced glass in patio doors of dunaglow, health and safety issue. Cut back hedges around dungalows, very overgrown in parts and we had to cut back a little ourselves in order to access dungalows.

Been there several year with 4 kids. Always had a great time. The kids love the rides playgrounds pool and can easily access local beach get bus train to amsterdam etc. Walk to local village. Just great. Staff are always lovely and sort out any issues as required. Duingalows were comfortable for what we needed

Evening entertainment is limited didnt think much of activities well the kids didnt ever want to go. Not enough games interaction for kids to get to know each other. Could be better but really didnt matter too much as mine just played all day in park and pool.

An absolutely brilliant holiday that the whole thoroughly enjoyed! The facilities are excellent, there is something for everyone. My children (aged 2 and 6) keep asking when we are going back! Would recommend without hesitation.

Our Dungalow has a very mouldy shower seal/ edge of tray. My toddler slipped and cut her ear typically landing on the mouldy edge. The staff were wonderful but we were very concerned about risk of infection. Perhaps consider the cleanliness particularly towards the end of the peak season (we stayed last 2 weeks of August).
