Good product, disappointing service
I’m only giving 2 stars because I eventually received the item and I’m happy with it (although credit for this should go to Motone). However, the overall experience was frustrating.
I ordered the Jupiter exhaust tips on April 18th, based on the website stating they were in stock and would ship within 3–5 business days. I also paid extra for fast shipping.
After several days with no confirmation or update, I emailed to ask about the status of my order. I was then informed that the parts were actually not available and would take another week to be ready for shipment.
On April 30th, I followed up again and was told the item still wasn’t available.
I understand there can be logistical issues, but advertising a product as in stock when it isn’t is misleading. Offering a fast shipping option when it’s not possible only adds to the frustration.
I finally received the item on May 9th – over three weeks after purchase.
It’s a shame. With better communication and a more accurate website, this company would be far more appealing. The lack of a refund for the fast shipping I paid for, and no gesture to make up for the poor service, means I can’t recommend them. This experience has put me off ordering again.
