Slow delivery - item not as advertised
Delivery was slow. I ordered these end bar mirrors based on images used which matched the mirrors I needed to replace due to a bike drop.
I had bought a replacement set, but the mirror glass in them was cheap, tinted and offered poor viewing range and adjustability was terrible. So when I saw these end bar mirrors on the CafeRacerWebshop looking as exactly the same as the ones I originally had (Hex key bolts, NOT cheap Philips screws - and non-tinted mirror glass, basically better build quality overall) I ordered immediately.
This order was placed on 11th July 2022 - this morning, 18th July 2022, they arrived.
Upon opening I was utterly disappointed and irritated that these mirrors are the same, cheap build, with blue tinted mirror glass and cheap Philips screws as the ones I wanted to replace. Utter waste of time and money, so returning immediately in today's post.
Your product image needs to be changed to the item you are selling, as I was sold an item under false advertising. I cannot recommend these mirrors. They are flat and the tint does not help. My original end bar mirrors have a convex shape to the surface, allowing for a greater field of rear vision, which was excellent, plus no tint made rear viewing perfect, as opposed to these flat, poor quality mirrored glass. You might as well stick a vanity mirror on the end of your handle bars, they are that useless in terms of rear viewing angle and field of vision.
As a company, I'm unsure as to whether or not I can recommend them - that depends on how this matter is handled, but seeing as you must select a 'YES' or 'NO' option in order to send your review, I have to, for this time, say, 'NO'. As a product - no. Definitely not. Not only do I question the build quality, but purely on how well these function as a rear view mirror upon which a rider has to place his or her safety and life upon? Never.
