Good sales, but delivery agent lets you down
Good sales process, however shipping agents poor service ruins the overall experience. If the website states super fast shipment, you need to ensure you delivery agent is able to provide this service or it just annoying. You cost including tax is a higher than most on the website, however the “super fast shipping” was the reason I purchased the goods, sadly the products have not even left the county yet, therefor delaying my bike being MOT’ed. The website should really state super fast dispatch, this is more accurate. Additionally, if you know the goods are delayed in transit, better customer communication is always a good start, this manages expectations, maintains good bonding and rapport and doesn’t leave the consumer wondering “where are my goods”. Communication post-sell is equally as important, this element of the sales process is where repeat business comes from. I think overall the business sales process is ok, products are very good, marketing is good, but the weak link is your delivery agent. They must be treated as a part of your business, as they are the lasting memory should they delivery not been successful.
