Poor packaging with high risk of damaging the product.
I bought two IXIL Ironhead mufflers from Cafe.Racer webshop. The purchase and payment process were easy. Delivery was slightly delayed because one of the two mufflers was not in stock. This can happen. However, the products were packaged in a way that carries a high risk of damage. Fortunately, both silencers were fine.
In addition, assembly instructions or a video link for this would have been desirable.
Regarding the product - it is the variant for the water-cooled Triumph Bonneville T120 - it should be noted that the spacer bushing with which the silencer must be fitted to the left passenger footpeg socket is not sufficiently thick. Here there is the risk that the center stand hits against the muffler when folding back. Only after mounting three additional washers a sufficient distance between center stand and muffler was achieved. However, the screw with which the foot peg and the muffler are fixed was too short for three additional washers. Instead of the original M8 x 45mm Allen screw, a screw with M8 x 55mm is needed.
The mufflers themselves are well made, deliver a powerful but not too loud sound and are significantly lighter than the stock parts.
