I cannot recommend Louis De Portree Store enough. A 5 star experience. Our carpet is beautiful and the service was second to none.

Choosing a rug online is difficult. Colour ?? Size ?? I don't know what the answer is but I'm happy with both the size,style and colour of our new rug. The vintage, distressed look of this rug is subtle and gives a neutral, muted look which is what I wanted. The White pepper colour I would say is a taupe,grey with a slight rust colour colour in there too but not dominant at all, easy to work with.

J'ai trouvé que vos services étaient courtois et efficaces. Je suis juste un peu déçu du tapis que je voyais un peu plus foncé que ça, mais je suis cependant très contente d'avoir un beau tapis De Poortere ça fait des années que nous avons découvert vos tapis vintage notamment dans de beaux hôtels en Belgique.

I’ve been kept well informed from placing the order to taking delivery. The colours of the rug are as expected (which can sometimes be a bit of a gamble with online purchases). The material feels so soft and of very good quality, and the edging detail is very good, too. The rug came rolled up on a sturdy cardboard tube and well protected in a thick plastic sleeve. I couldn’t be more pleased with my purchase.
