Received damaged guitar that was listed as "brand new"
I recently ordered two guitars from TFOA and was delighted with responsive customer service and fast shipping. Additionally, both guitars arrived perfectly set up.
HOWEVER, it was very disappointing to see that one of the guitars at had some scratches/gouging on the back of the neck, right behind the 5th fret, bad enough to be noticeable when playing. The guitar was listed as "BRAND NEW" and had no disclosure of any damage prior to purchase and long distance shipping.
It's difficult to buy a guitar when shipping long distance without a chance to see the guitar in person first, and so it's necessary to rely on the shop's description. Had this damage been disclosed, I would have reconsidered, and certainly interpreted the pricing differently.
I reached out to TFOA to point out the damage after receiving the guitar, but didn't receive any response.
