Fantastic Customer Service at the start, but then it's all downhill from there
I spent over 4,000€ with these clowns this summer. At first their customer service was great. They delivered my order to my house, erected the garden furniture and everything was fine. A week later I reported some damage to an item of furniture (caused by me, not by them) and I requested that they order a replacement which I would willingly pay for. The item in question was a seat cover to one of the dining chairs I had purchased. This was back in May 2021. It's now September and I have still not received the replacement chair cover! Let's be clear, this is an item that would fit into a standard size Jiffy bag and could be posted by standard mail from their supplier in Holland to my location in Spain. This simple task is, apparently, impossible for them to achieve! But the thing that really makes me angry, is the fact that despite my numerous phone calls, WhatsApp messages and vists to their premises, nothing gets done, no responses are forthcoming. It's clear to me that once these despicable amateurs have taken your cash, they just don't give a damn! Well, listen, De Tropen, the only thing that you have is your reputation and right now that stinks. Will you ever see me purchase from your store again? Dream on!
