Thank you iLost!
While I was in Amsterdam in September I did myself a solid and lost my card wallet. I don’t really know where or exactly when but I went to pay for something and it wasn’t in my purse. I traced my last steps, checked the apartment where I was staying, scoured the storage room of the trade show booth but found nothing: It was truly gone. I also checked the lost and found at the RAI where the guy told me all found things get turned over to ilost.co and to keep an eye on their website. So over the next few days I checked the site like a stalker but no such luck. A few days later I flew home and tried to forget about it. I cancelled cards, renewed my license, and let it go. Last week, in a moment of boredom, I checked the site again and holy cow: someone found my wallet!!! A few identity questions, a hefty shipping fee, and a couple of days later and I’m very pleased to announce that my cute little card wallet made it home safely and all in one piece! 💳 💕
The whole experience is a happy reminder that there ARE good people out there. I want to send a giant THANK YOU to whoever turned it in. May good things happen to you when you least expect it. 🙌🏻 Thank you to the guy at the @raiamsterdam service desk for letting me know about ilost. 👊🏻 And thank you to @ilost for connecting the lost with the found! 🥇 @iamsterdam #luckyme #gratitude #welcomehome 🍀🥂💌
