Superb!

The service from the store is superb. The staff goes extra mile for their customers. The responses from the store have been quick and timely. Martin is willing to share his thoughts and knowledge so that I could make an informed decision. A bit of context, my son is 100cm and I was leaning towards to get Woom 3 instead of Woom 2, for his first pedal bike. After Martin highlighted a small difference of 5-7cm in height means a lot to a toddler. So I decided to have Woom 2. It was perfect. My son able to pedal on his 2nd try. He could get the bicycle up himself after a fall. Delivery is quick too! Just go for this store for your purchase =)

Mortifying Service with Untrustworthy Information

On 27 August 2023, I ordered a Cowboy Cruiser +, colour sand, as the website offered 15% off every article, knowing that the website presented “In Stock in our Warehouse”. Instead of 3.339, I paid 2.878,10 with 39,95 euros of shipment included. Over the first week, I asked customer service about the estimated arrival of the bike. From there, I was presented with charts from the article description, stating 59 days, which I found confusing since it said, “In Stock”. I decided to swap my order with the Cruiser St + Black since it said only ten days to get to the EU. Once they confirmed the swap, they told me that on 15 September, the bike would arrive at the store and be ready to be shipped to me – however, nothing. On 22 September, I emailed about refund options. Immediately, customer service informed me that Cowboy shipped the Cowboy Cruiser + sand instead – despite swap confirmation – and that it would arrive in the next week. On 30 September, I received an email from the shop confirming the store’s order for the bike and its delivery in the upcoming week. Once again, the bike seemed to be on its way. On 2 October, Martin informed me that the bike might arrive at the shop in the following days. Still, I did not receive updates following. It's useless to tell me you have no control over what Cowboy says or does; if you state information via email to a client, don't get frustrated if we spam back when that information is continuously false. The least I asked is to be updated. It doesn't matter that nothing has changed with the order, but at least I will be aware of it so I can count on the service to inform me in case of actual shipping. Update after delivery: I posted a recent review stating the final arrival of the bike and the generous actions from customer service. See that review above for the final chapter of this story (good ending)

Can sell well, But cańt deal with problems

It feels like it's fraudsters. I ordered and paid for a bike on 09/16 (on the net it said: delivery time 3-10 days, in stock). 6 days after the order confirmation, I asked when the bike will be delivered. I was then informed that the manufacturer can only deliver at the end of October/beginning of November. I didn't expect that. Until then, however, the dealers always responded very quickly. On 10/14 I contacted the dealers and wanted to cancel the order. Only after 4 more answers from me, they answered me 5 days later. They claim that they immediately informed me of the new delivery time and that I agreed to a pre-order. They also sent me a paragraph from their terms and conditions, which says: Cancellations of pre-orders cost 15%. I would even pay the 15% fees if they could show me that I had ordered a pre-order, otherwise I would have voluntarily given them something for the circumstances, but you don't answer me anymore and this behaviour confirms to me that it is right not to buy anything from you. I will give an update on whether I have received my money back or whether I have received the cancelled bike and then have to take further steps. I'm also curious if they justify themselves here. In the first case, I delete the post.

Dear Christoph, As explained to you by email - before you placed an order you asked us specific questions about the bike and we have clearly mentioned that we don't have the bike at the shop. After you have placed an order we had another email exchange where we have informed you about the delivery time and you have replied to us that if something changes we should notify you. But then 3 weeks later, basically almost before the delivery you wanted to cancel your order and we have informed you about the fact that this is pre-order which we can't cancel and this stage. As mentioned to you by email - we are reputable company and we have no intentions to make your life difficult but you should understand that if everyone would start changing orders and cancelling them it would become a disaster. Lousy experience

I ordered a Frog children's bike on the strength of the fact that your website indicated it was "in stock". Your understanding of that term clearly differs from mine since when I enquired as to the status of the order, two or three weeks after first placing it, it finally emerged that you did not have the bike in stock and were waiting for Frog to deliver it to you. Answers to my questions via the chat and email were a triumph of optimism over any actual knowledge. The bike eventually arrived (after four weeks) on my doorstep with no warning from either SBS or the shipping company. Avoid this company if you can, they're clearly trying their best but have over-reached.

I am very sorry for your experience. It was not our intention to have the delay during the transit but sometimes the logistics can't be predicted so something that should happen quickly took longer than anticipated. Once the shipment was shipped there has to be an email received with track and trace code, but what I see is that TNT tried to deliver but you where not at home so there was additional delay for another 1 week. We admit that this was not greatest experience and we are doing all to improve processes in situations like this. If you would like to give us another chance please reach out to us before placing an order and we would provide you with a voucher that would hopefully make it up for you. Misleidende reclame

Ik bestelde een stockmodel, want daar was een mooie korting op. Bij het bestellen van een fiets check je best eerst wanneer hij verstuurd wordt lees je op de site. So I did. 2 weken zou het duren om hem te leveren. Dat is al lang, maar bon, als er verschillende magazijnen zijn kan dat wel dacht ik. Ik heb uiteindelijk 1,5 maand moeten wachten voor deze geleverd werd. Geen proactieve communicatie van de webshop, wel zeer defensief van de medewerkers. Dat ik begrip moest hebben want dat 1. Er iets misgelopen was en dat hij in transit zat 2. Dat de leverancier de fiets nog altijd niet verstuurd had 3. Dat hij vast zat in transit 4. Dat hij nu zeker wel onderweg was Remember, ik kocht een STOCKMODEL. Iets is hier alles behalve eerlijk verlopen.

Ordered product is Pre-Order and it has been clearly stated on the website and you have been opted for obligatory checkbox which states following information in order to submit an order: Attention! I confirm that I have contacted SBS about the delivery time of this article! I am aware that item can be a Pre-Order and Terms & Conditions apply! We are monitoring re-supply constantly, but there may be changes that we are not accountable for! This is also on your invoice as a proof that you agreed to that but never contacted us before placing an order. Other than that the same day you placed the order we emailed you to ask which axle kit you would need for the frame with very clear message in it which stated the following: "When we have your answer, we can order the frame kit." So I see this review very misleading which does not reflect the true picture of your experience. Bestellung aus GER - Zustellung und Produkt sehr gut!

Zugegeben war ich anfangs etwas skeptisch in den Niederlanden zu bestellen. Der Versand ist aber ohne Probleme früher als geplant erfolgt. Das Fahrrad hat keine Schäden/Macken (Ware ist 1A). Bin sehr zufrieden und kann nur jeden SimpleBikeStore weiterempfehlen!

Over all happy with the process

Pleased with the bike I bought! Only issue I had was that had to write to get an update on the order as I received no information. 3 weeks went by from I ordered until I got my order delivered. Other than that I had no issues.
