Now i got my perfect bike

I ordered a bike. Had a good contact with simple bike store. Every question was answered fast and they've been super nice at simple bike store. Would definitely order again. But now I got my perfect bike and hopefully won't order in the next time again :)

Slechte communicatie

Zonder te overleggen iets opgestuurd terwijl ik ‘pick up’ had gekozen. Ook geen trace code gekregen in eerste instantie, pas nadat ik er zelf over belde. Mandje ontbrak ook bij de fiets

Dear Loes, I am sorry for your experience! Unfortunately the bike was at our other shop and we needed to ship it to Rotterdam store. Since it needed to be shipped anyways the employee decided to ship it directly to you but in all the rush forgot to communicate that with you. He only had the best intentions, but I do admit that we should have to call you beforehand. I am extremely sorry for that and we will try to improve our workflow in situations like this. But the track and trace is usually sent to your email as soon as the goods leave us, maybe it went to your spam folder? Regarding the basket - it is first time that we hear it from you! You have never contacted us about this. In case it was missing we would ship it to you right away but you never told us that. Simple Bike Store Team Eddy

Returns policy

Item described as xxl far too small So returned item via recorded delivery at expense Now makes no sense as item is stuck at post office and shop will not pick up item for refund Wrong description of item hence return

Dear Roger, Our return policy is very straight forward and we have sent you an email with clear instructions. Since you are from UK we have mentioned to you following: We recommend using tracked delivery services as in case we are not receiving the parcel we are unable to issue a refund. Also make sure that all duties and import costs are covered as we would not accept the goods back if we have to pay the import costs. You need to make sure you do it the correct way by informing the institutions it is returned so you get the refund for paid duties if any and we don't need to pay anything to receive the goods back from you. Once the goods are received we will issue a refund excluding shipping costs. Due to fact you have used regular mail and haven't marked the return as return we have been asked to pay amount which is almost half of the value of the item itself. As we have specifically mentioned this matter to you before we can't be held accountable for it. We simply have no options to go to the post office to collect parcels from there and we have mentioned that beforehand - all has to be delivered to our return address and so far other customers haven't had problems with it. I am sorry for the experience but I assume that ordering from EU has it's risks once you are based in UK.

Simple = easy and problem free!

Almost 100% satisfied BUT for delivery in Ireland, Fastway couriers seen to have the been subcontracted. Sh't service as usual from fastway, delivered to the wrong house as usual. Use anyone else, use national post service, just don't use fastway.
