Hello Geraldine, thank you for sharing your experience. We checked and can see you used the "normal shipping" option wich gives an estimate of 10 shipping days (note shipping days are without the weekends) with that in mind we calculated that the estimated time of arrival would be today but keep in mind that this is an estimate and during this period of the year(black friday, christmas etc.) many delays can occur. Also US customs can hold packages up to 3 weeks before clearing them and this is not something we can control ofcourse. To prevent having to wait a long time we'd advise using the DHL express option in the future (this especially shortens the time at US customs). We ofcourse hope you'll enjoy your shoes as soon as possible!

We hebben er eind vorig jaar voor gekozen om ons vooral op de webshop te richten omdat dat is waar veruit de meeste behoefte aan is vanuit onze klanten. We hebben nog wel een showroom in Heiloo die iedereen op afspraak kan bezoeken om onze schoenen te passen

We are very surprised by your review. When we received the shoes, we were unable to fulfill your request, because the bigger size was no longer available. We sent you an email, asking what you wanted then, but we didn't get a reply anymore. So we refunded the purchase price. We think we could not have done more
Dear Janet, We are quite shocked by this review and especially the rating you gave us as it seems that all the troubles you experienced are caused by factors out of our hands. You state that you were told that you had to pay 99 pounds import tax, this is decided by customs since the UK isn't a part of the EU anymore, we can't do anything about this. We contacted the delivery company and they declared that they came to your house 3 times and no one answered the door those times, again we have no say in when they came to your house or how and when they asked you to pay the import tax. Summarized, You ordered shoes with us, we send you the shoes you ordered in a timely manner and when we received the shoes back we refunded you your money right away. This is all we could have done on our end. We are a shoe shop, we are not a delivery company and we are not customs. Please know we are working very hard for our customer satisfaction and a small specialized business like ours can really be hurt by a review like yours.

What we can see is that the shoes were shipped January 19. They arrived in USA January 20 and have been at customs depot from 20/1 to February 9. Yesterday they arrived in your state and today (10/2) they will be delivered. We find this very annoying for you, but can not do anything about it, because we have no influence on the customs of a country. What we can recommend is, next time don't have it sent by regular mail, but by DHL express. DHL has its own customs service, it's a bit more expensive, but it goes a lot faster. Again Allen, we are very sorry for you. We hope you like the shoes and you will enjoy them a lot!

Hello Yesenia, we see that the shoes were delivered on January 13. That's a long time, we think it's because Christmas and New Year's were in between, a very busy period. We recommend you next time to have the shoes delivered by DHL Express, it's more expensive, but really a lot faster. We are very sorry that you had to wait so long for the shoes. We see that the ankle boots were ordered on December 29 and delivered January 4. We think the package was slightly delayed because New Year's Eve was in between. What we regret, is that you did not contact us about the scratch on the heel, then we could have looked for a solution. Next time if something is not right, please send a picture by email.
