The chairs arrived today and what a horrendous experience this has been. After a month of waiting for the items, the delivery guy refused to bring the chairs up to my apartment. Instead, he left the pallet in the lobby of my apartment building. I spent an hour finding steel cutters to cut the cable around the box and then another hour unboxing the chairs and having to discard of the boxes and the pallet itself. Upon sitting in the chairs, I discovered they were absolutely filthy from factory, ruining the white shirt that I was wearing. This has been quite an awful consumer experience. I sure hope you don’t treat your other customers this way. I cannot, in no way, shape, or form, recommend your company or your services to anyone I know. Absolute disaster.

I ordered a custom Acapulco chair. Knowing this would take about three months, waiting was no problem. However, communication was not great. My advice to all future customers is to follow Fair Furniture's rules about inspections of U.S. deliveries to the letter. There is a lot of pressure when an 18-wheeler shows up in front of your house with one guy and a sealed pallet to just sign for it and stop blocking traffic. When you pay extra for fair trade products, $60 for shipping and forfeit your right to make returns after signing, ignore those instincts. I opened the box on my front lawn and the contents were not mine. Not even close. It took several emails sent over several weeks and another incorrect attempt by the freight contractor to deliver the wrong chair to me to get the situation resolved. The good news is that the chair is awesome.

I love my two chairs! They are stylish, comfortable & extremely high quality. I am very happy with my purchase and will likely buy more chairs in the future.

Love our new custom barstools - The barstools online were too tall and we needed counter height stools. They also sent me color samples so I could choose the perfect one to match my kitchen. Couldn’t be more pleased at the look, quality and comfort of these stools! They make the look of the kitchen - would order from them again!

The quality of the chairs is good. Worth the cost. I ordered two chairs and a footrest. The way they were packaged was very very surprising. They were set on top on each other, bound together with a metal cord on a pallet, with only a flimsy single piece of cardboard that wrapped around the sides. This leaves the top totally exposed. And the upon arrival the cardboard protection had been ripped off and was barely hanging on. The pallet was broken. They def don’t treat it like a quality product with the way it’s packaged. I agree with earlier reviews about it being impossible to demand that the delivery person wait for you to unwrap and inspect the product before you sign off. It took me about 30mins to look at all three pieces. There is no way a delivery person is going to wait for that. I got lucky and there was no damage. Still a great purchase but the packaging needs to improve. OR don’t put an unrealistic responsibility on the buyer to inspect before the delivery person leaves. It’s just not able to happen.

The chair is beautiful and works great but got a little damaged on the way to me. I know the site has a disclaimer saying to check the chair for damage before the delivery guy leaves but you can't see the damage until you unwrap the many layers of plastic it's wrapped with. The delivery guy couldn't have waited for me to unwrap, it took me quite a bit of time to remove the packaging. The chair wasn't protected very well on the top and bottom so please consider covering the entire chair in cardboard, not just the sides. I ordered the hemp rocking chair so some of the strings got a little loose too. It probably got hit from the top since there was barely any protection. The bottom of the rocking chair got scuffed a little, again because it was just plastic wrap covering it. For the price I paid, I expected less damage.

The Acapulco chair that I purchased is comfortable and beautiful, and looks exactly like the pictures on the web site. I’ll definitely recommend the company to others, and buy from them again in the future.

Product shipped quickly and is high quality, chairs are comfortable and hold shape well and look great. The cord quickly becomes taut again (from shipping and sitting) which is reassuring for durability. Successfully napped, passed my test. Seems much higher quality than most cheaper alternatives in US (weight distribution, feet, depth, cord, sustainability, etc), worth.

Our first delivery experience was stellar and I love the products. We ordered more, and the sofa's leg was crooked on arrival. Fair Furniture is not true to its name real life sadly. They just blamed the delivery company and that we should have claimed the damage during delivery. It was impossible to investigate the sofa during delivery to the detail needed because 1) the delivery guy was in a hurry and 2) the sofa was wrapped in lots of wrappings. Sadly not well enough. I love my acapulco chairs, it’s simply a beautiful design and the most important in a chair, they are comfortable and sturdy.

I was looking for two outdoor patio chairs that would be comfortable enough to sleep in and weather resistant so I wouldn’t have to worry about them or buy new cushions. These chairs are perfect and everyone loves them! And we love to take naps in them. I’m glad we spent a little extra and I’m sure they will continue to impress our guests.
