Machine ok. Duty payment required that wasn’t explained

The delivery time was ok but I didn’t see anything on the site while purchasing that I would have to pay import duty. It said if you have a vat number then I wouldn’t have to pay any. I was then told to pay an extra £38 making the machine a fair bit more expensive than others.

Fake seller details

I ordered a brazing torch from a British website Toolsidee.co.uk, with free delivery. For my surprise I received a message from DPD to pay £49.96 of customer fees. Do I need to pay customs fees if I get the item from UK. A different way to seel products and take consumers as idiots. Waiting for my refund.

It says I will receive the item between 3-5 days But after 10 days I have not yet received the Item, and you are bothering about an assessment, so therefore I am unsure of everything, But if I get the item and it is good then I will continue to buy from them, just count shipping with twice as long,

Infuriating customer service and communication

Just unreliable. Received the order fast but with wrong and defected items. They asked to send those products back in order for them to send me the right ones but then issued a refund without even notifying me or asking. Already a month after the placement of the order and the issue is not resolved. Lastly, many of the products are pretty low quality so keep that in mind (hence the low prizes I guess)
