Gerät funktioniert nicht richtig; Kunde übernimmt trotzdem Portokosten für Rücksendung

Der Spotter kam schnell. Anmeldung, Appnutzung, Aufladung etc. gingen soweit gut. Als wir den Spotter dann aber tatsächlich nutzen wollten, fielen zwei Mängel auf: Die Schritte wurden nicht richtig bzw. meist gar nicht gezählt. Beim Anrufen konnte über den Spotter alles gehört, aber nicht gesprochen werden. Auf Seiten des Anrufers blieb alles still, auch als wir es mit einem anderen Telefon versuchten. Auch die Akkulaufzeit war nicht, wie angegeben: Sie betrug 1-2 Tage. Ich hab mich dann an den Kundenservice gewandt. Der Kontakt war in Ordnung, auch wenn die Nachrichten auf Englisch beantwortet wurden. Es wurde eine Reparatur bzw. die Übersendung eines neuen Geräts angeboten. Weil mich die Qualität aber nicht überzeugt hat und auf anderen Handelsplattformen außerdem sehr viele Menschen von ähnlichen Mängeln und Defekten berichteten, habe ich mich schließlich für die Rücksendung des defekten Artikels im Zusammenhang mit einem Widerruf des Kaufs entschieden. Meiner Bitte um Erstattung bzw. Übersendung eines kostenfreien Retourenlabels wurde nicht nachgegangen. Für die Rücksendekosten hatte ich aufzukommen, obwohl das defekte Gerät nicht auf mein Verschulden zurückzuführen war. Leider insgesamt eine große Enttäuschung.

Works really nice to follow my cat

This GPs works really nice to follow my cat. The app is easy to use and generate lots of interesting data. The batterie does not last so long, it has to be recharged every day, it is may be due to the fact that no power off button exist on the GPS so it always try to find signal even inside the house, which use the batterie for nothing.

Great to see where your cat is going!

In the beginning the tracker didn’t work. After contact with customersupport, they changed settings and it worked without problems. Great option in the app to see the route our cat had taken in the last 24 hours. The duration of the battery could be better. Every day charging is necessary.

Not worth its price

I expected better. The first scam is that this 100eur watch is a money pit as you have to pay an extra 20 eur /3 months for service and then have to pay international fee each time you need to call. The gps is not precise, my daughter was at home but in the app she appeared as being in a neighbouring town 8km away! I had to remove the home area as we were getting constant notification that she had left the area even though she was safely upstairs in her room. I hesitated between getting this watch or getting an air tag + a dumb phone for emergencies. I wish I had gone for that (cheaper) option instead.

Werkt fijn. Goed te installeren

Spotter werkt heel goed. Als je vragen hebt reageren ze snel op de mail. Super fijn dat je ze ook kan bereiken door te bellen. Nadeel is dat je niet naar de spotterplek kan navigeren. Verder vind ik het oplaat systeem niet heel handig. De pinnetjes moeten precies goed zitten. Als ik nog een optie zou mogen kiezen zou het waterdicht zijn. Nu moet hij op vakantie nog vaak af.

Im großen und ganzen gut

Das einzige was stört ist die nicht immer genaue Anzeige wo sich die Person wirklich befindet da, trotzdem die Person zu Hause ist und sich nicht bewegt der Bewegungsradius gut 200 Meter schwankt je nachdem wo gerade der Funkmast angesteuert wird. Im großen und ganzen aber eine gute Sache

Eindelijk een betaalbaar safety product

Eindelijk een goed en betrouwbaar product gevonden dat alles bied aan iemand die behoefte heeft aan een systeem dat als er een probleem is men hulp in kan roepen. Men kan na dat de melding is gedaan via de app telefonisch communiceren maar ook direct zien waar de persoon is. Wij hebben meer dan een jaar een ander systeem gehad maar dat werkte alleen in huis en was behoorlijk kostbaar, niet alleen voorrij kosten maar ook installatiekosten (alleen een stekker in het stopcontact doen) maar ook maandelijkse abonnementskosten €26.50 per maand. De Spotter kost €99.00 en is je eigendom en een heel jaar abonnement is €59.00 en het systeem werkt in heel Europa, tel uit je winst en de bereikbaarheid, wij zijn heel tevreden met dit product en kunnen het van harte aanbevelen.

From now on my Dad wears the watch , so we can monitor him without being afraid he is somewhere, where we don't know he is. And if he don't know where he is, he can use the watch to send signal so we can call him and tell him to stay there and we will come

Handig GPS horloge voor kinderen, maar weinig opties en gaat niet altijd goed met opnemen

Mijn dochter is blij met het horloge en het versturen van een SOS bericht werkt goed. Wel jammer dat ze bijvoorbeeld niet zelf kan bellen vanaf het horloge of een ander bericht kan sturen dan SOS. Verder hoop ik dat ik geen contact op hoef te nemen met de klantenservice. Bij het eerste horloge werkte de activeringscode namelijk niet en ik heb hierover een vraag gesteld via de website, maar nooit reactie ontvangen (naast bevestiging dat ze het bericht hadden ontvangen). Uiteindelijk heb ik dat horloge retour gestuurd en ergens anders besteld.

it works fine, its reliable but needs some improvement

the existing functionalities are good, its easy to use. the location is sometimes not accurate, which is a problem when the person appears to be 2 streets away. i would like a functionality to enable different people to track the same tracker (usually several kids follow their sick parents) but still a useful and working tool. it would be nice to make it smaller the calling functionality is useles when dealing with old people: if they forget where they live how are they going to remember how to use a new phone?

Good start, failed to finish

I have two products from Spotter - GPS watch and GPS tracker. The products are working, the devil is in details: - GPS watch requires subscription, that is to be expected. What Spotter does not mention - the clock does NOT work without subscription. It shuts itself off. So you must buy a subscription, just to see the current time, to use it as a clock. I was expecting that I can use it at least as a clock - but no way. - Spotter map does not display last-known-position of GPS tracker. Suppose you lost your dear. Suppose the battery was low - and tracker got dead after 2 hours. That's it. The last-known position is NOT displayed on Spotter map. Zero. Nil. - There is no contact of live support. The best I found - online form for support. And the button "Send" is not working there. Ha-ha. So it started good - and now I don't recommend it to anyone. And yes, they still send me reminders to purchase more credits. And no unsubscribe from these :)
