Delivery was scheduled for Tuesday 06/24 - today is the 27th - still awaiting arrival. Don't believe it to be an issue with laptop with linux, still not a great experience

I just recently bought my first laptop with the company. The process of ordering was clear and smooth. The time for assembling and delivery was also fine. The only minor thing that could be improved - they created a default user with a different name than I requested, with a typo. Thanks to my technical knowledge, I was able to correct that by myself. At this moment my second order is in progress with the company. I am looking forward to future cooperation!

1. Ordering and payment was straightforward and easy 2. Order preparation took a bit of time with my configuration, but the shipping from the Netherlands to Switzerland was blazing fast and as instructed. 3. Set-up was mostly a breeze. The computer came as instructed except for two small typos. However, that leads to the next point. 4. The support was really top-notch. Fast. Accurate. Friendly. I have yet to receive this kind of support, and I hope the company grows and maintains such a level. 5. The product itself, the TongFang GX5 15.3-inch Metal Ultrabook (https://laptopwithlinux.com/product/tongfang-gx5/), is actually very nice and performant. I was unsure about this, but everything about it so far is spectacular value for the price. The trackpad is almost as good as Mac, and the keyboard is snappy. The screen is also great. No complaints at all.

I am very happy with the laptop. It exceeded my expectations. I liked the ordering process. The company was fast, came through as promised. Ahead of the purchase I had asked for clarification on what's app and I was happy with the reply. I find all laptops to be more expensive than I think they should be, but your company was competitively priced so I was not going to reduce the stars based on that. The unit itself feels solid, looks sleek, is nice and light. As I just got it, it remains to be seen how long it will last, but the service options offered as part of the purchase also gives me confidence. The linux software pre-loading, the option for encryption, etc was an ideal option for me. I look forward to using this a lot. I also look forward to trying another product from the company(mini-computer for the house) when I save some money for it.

All ok, I will make more purchases in the future

There was a mix up with my order which meant the wrong configuration was sent but when notified, the team were very quick and apologetic in ensuring a resolution. They sent me a label to return the first shipment and the computer with the correct configuration is now en route.

I received my Byte desktop computer in about 2 weeks from date of order. There was good communication along the way as to when it was shipped, etc. It was easy to hook up and begin to use even though I was used to Windows 10. It seems to connect to the Internet much faster than the Microsoft Edge browser we had been using. I feel a peace of mind also knowing this is a private computer. Thank you for making Linus user friendly!

Mini pc zat keurig verpakt, en alles klopte zoals ik besteld had kwa specificaties. Is een supersnelle Minipc ! Ik heb de volgende specificaties in laten zetten; i7 processor, 500gb ssd , 16gb werkgeheugen. En zelf heb ik er Ubuntu op gezet via opstartbare usb , gemaakt met Chromebook. In de mail zat track&trace link dus kon ‘m prima volgen. Absolute aanrader om pc te bestellen

Shipping was speedy and error free. Everything worked out of the box and partitioning help was prompt and very patient with someone re-learning Linux after a 20 year layoff. This was the second laptop I've ordered from them, so I'm obviously a satisfied customer; I will recommend LWL to anyone interested in making the jump/leap from Windows. Including instructions to help the novice configure the BIOS to boot to the enclosed USB (F7) if needed for partitioning would be helpful.

Ik bestelde een TongFang GX5 15.3-inch Metal Ultrabook zonder OS met Intel Ultra 7 en Arc Graphics. Bestelling : Dinsdag morgen Verzending : Woensdag namiddag Levering : Vrijdag namiddag Installatie van Ubuntu 24.04.03 door mezelf. Enkel wired ethernet Motorcomm Microelectronics. YT6801 Gigabit Ethernet Controller (rev 01) werkte niet out-of-the-box. Dit was opgelost met installatie van tuxedo-yt6801_1.0.29tux1_all.deb. Ondanks Intel toch AMD stickers op het toestel. Ben zeer tevreden. Zeer snelle laptop. Mooi scherm. Stil. Net voldoende aansluitingen voor toetsenbord, muis, 2de scherm, externe luidsprekers (audio) en externe schijf.

alles is perfect Ik heb de 17 inch laptop besteld zonder OS, maar ik ga Zorin OS later installeren, snelle levering, communicatie ok, ik raad het aan voor een goede laptop onder Linux

Steeds een keurig antwoord binnen een aanvaardbare tijd. Contactopname voor verzending zoals gevraagd. Snelle levering. Keurig verpakt. Ik wist niet wat ik mocht verwachten met Linux. Tot hiertoe ben ik uitermate tevreden.

Vlot en netjes geleverd

I got what I ordered in very short time. I purchased a pc with Fedora 42. Many apps were preinstalled and saved me from a lot of work. It was not possible to get XAMPP preinstalled. I assume many would appreciate this possibility.

I have bought an Intel NUC device for my personal file server without any OS. The order has been processed in a timely manner, delivery was smooth. Packaging is great and the overall exterior is undamaged. Internal configuration is the same as expected. For some reason forgot to put a memory stick into a package, though they said that they put a flash card even if I choose "no OS " option. However, for me it was not a problem. Now I use this device as a home server running syncthing and several other programs.

Los van enkele minpuntjes een hele goeie optie. Het zou heel mooi zijn als deze nog zouden kunnen worden opgelost... Het Nederlands moet nog wel even goed worden ingesteld... De software voor de webcam, microfoon en speakers werkt nog niet goed... Hierbij opgemerkt dat dit mogelijk te maken heeft met de Linux software... De mini-desktop werkt verder uitstekend, alhoewel er op de site en in de informatie een Intel model wordt aangegeven in plaats van de geleverde ASUS.

Was 1 onderdeel wat verkeerd geleverd was, maar na een belletje werd dit keurig opgelost, super!

I highly recommand Laptop met Linux if you need Linux.

Very good PD, easy to configure, quick delivery.

The laptop (GX5) was assembled and shipped the next day, resulting in quick delivery across Europe (3 days after placing the order). After using it for a week, I have to say that I’m impressed by the product's overall quality. Even the touchpad is almost as comfortable as a MacBook's. It's basically a MacBook in the Linux world. There were no issues contacting support.

While I wasn't satisfied with the product itself, everything went really smoothly. Ordering process, customer support, return process, everything went well and the staff is very helpful.

Appreciate the ability to order my laptop to my personal taste and preference. Recommended!

Bought a laptop and mini pc, very happy with both. No issues encountered throughout!

I bought this laptop to substitute my MacBook Air for work and leisure. I was looking for a large screen laptop with basic functionality and I believe I find it. I have to say it, the user experience is not even comparable to Apple ecosystem but this is a very good laptop. Delivery has been very quick, instructions in Italian are really clear and well written, and I have to say it there is nothing lack.
