Laptop, dispatched very quickly. International (to UK from EU) shipping no problem, no issues with customs, duty etc. Laptop very sturdy, staff very responsive to some questions I had about linux on the machine. Great service and company.

I ordered the Clevo NP50RNA. I've repurposed other laptops with Linux. However, the install was solid. The device is solid from a performance, stability, and even a physical perspective. I'll definitely come back to this company for my next.

If all computer vendor were like LaptopwithLinux, Linux-Distros would be by now prevailing over (toss out of) Windows.

I happened upon Laptop with Linux after being skeptical about the Mint Linux and Ubuntu options on Amazon. I googled/bing'd Laptops with Linux installed and found a few places, and after researching the options and pricing that Laptop with Linux had, I chose them. I was a bit hesitant since they were based in Europe but I am glad I chose them. Pound for pound, Gig for Gig I believe they were the best option out there. I have bought a mini-pc from System 76 before and it was a great machine, but they do not offer Mint and I wanted to try something different from Ubuntu and I am not as fond of Pop OS. Laptop with Linux offers so many Distros! Impressive! So, my machine is a 14" with metal case and so many modern ports it is amazing! Chris the Customer Service guy was so helpful and did not treat me like a number, he connected personally through email and it really made me feel like I could trust them. The laptop got to North Carolina so fast through DHL it made the whole thing easy. Just knowing that my machine was built and customized just for me and got here in around 4 days was amazing! I will be a repeat buyer!

Laptop with Linux provides excellent options for ordering a laptop with any of multiple Linux distros preinstalled. Also lost of options for the hardware and even custom laser engraving of the laptop lid, etc. The provide excellent customer service, are quick to answer questions and reply to emails. The only reason I cannot give 5 stars is because the computer screen keeps on randomly flickering...from the day I got the laptop even until now several months later! On their website they claim that they "select hardware that is perfectly tuned and optimized for use with Linux operating systems" and also "As a customer you can be sure that a laptop or computer purchased at laptopwithlinux.com will fully function with your chosen Linux system and you will experience the convenience of a system that comes pre-installed out-of-the-box with Linux." That is true - with the exception that my laptop screen continues to flicker randomly...which is annoying. Having said that, I do have to also mention, that whenever I write about screen flickering, etc. they respond promptly and professionally and are very friendly (5 stars!). (But unfortunately the problem with screen flickering has still not yet been resolved.)

Ik ben erg tevreden met mijn Linux Laptop, die enkele dagen geleden is bezorgd in Portugal. De service is snel en heel gericht, zeker nadat ik toch even had gebeld met enkele vragen vooraf. De werkwijze geeft mij de keuzevrijheid zelf te bepalen wat ik wil en hoe ik het wil. Het is vele jaren geleden sinds ik Ubuntu heb gebruikt, dus het is weer even wennen, maar ik heb geduld (met mijzelf). Er zijn slechts twee nadelen. Ten eerste is het geluid slecht, maar mogelijk kan ik dat zelf verbeteren. Ook zijn sommige instellingen automatisch vastgezet op Nederland(s), terwijl ik dat niet wil. Ik woon niet in Nederland en sommige software en websites werken dan in de basis anders. Met een VPN kom je vaak een heel eind, maar dat lukt niet altijd.

Excellent quality laptop and top service

Shipping and choosing options was quick. Very content with the laptop I got. All my parts and options were installed with no issue. Its hard to find a place that sells linux compatible laptops out of the box. Im glad I found LwL because it saves me the hassle and headache of finding compatible parts, packages and drivers for my laptop.

Bought a TongFang GX4. They assembled and shipped the product very fast. Unfortunately the otherwise excellent laptop was missing one of the two SSD I had ordered. Contacted customer service via WhatsApp and they promptly agreed to send the missing SSD. They handled the situation very well so no real complaints.

This time we have buy a TongFang X6, and it's really fast and a good laptop. And the most important, compatible with Debian!

In dealing with the pre-purchase conversations, it my experience was stellar. Very responsive and helpful. I would buy again just on that merit. The laptop - a slightly different story - maybe some of my fault. The keyboard: not sure if how I ordered the laptop (without RAM / NVME) played into not getting a BIOS change or firmware update applied - but there is a windows macro key for copilot that I can't use. I mapped it to F13 so I can use it for something maybe - but it can't be a modifier key, although it's labeled 'control'. If I could get an ANSI keyboard put on it, I would. The backlight for the keyboard might be missing a couple of lights as well - under the 'I' key and under the left control key. they are dark spots in the overall lighted keyboard. I can run any distro I like - not too much of an issue, just have to hack into kernel switches for the new AMD firmware that is still young. I'm running mx linux right now - it has the very least video problems. Anything with X11 requires a mix of kernel switches that will work, but sacrifice battery. m.2 wifi - your nomenclature stated it was a intel AX210 - which I really like. What was shipped was the mediatek - which I'm not a big fan of. I might swap it out, not sure yet. ethernet - no distro recognizes it, not even tuxedo. But I might try loading the tuxedo driver for it - not needed it so far. The good: amazing hardware - really. I get 10 hours of life out of the battery, running LM Studio, even during inference the fans come on but are whisper quiet. Playing games - which I don't really do that much of - steam runs the games I like and although the fans are on, it's not very loud - you have to really have a quiet room. I've successfully ran the following distros: nixos (KDE & Cinnamon) KDE visual artifacts, cinnamon bad battery life popos 24.04 COSMIC less visual artifacts than KDE but still present Fedora 43 Plasma the most visual artifacts MX Linux - the best so far. Very few artifacts

Na de zoveelste crash na windows updates besloten om na 10 jaar weer met Linux aan de slag te gaan. De "Laptop met Linux" werkt uit de box, bespaarde me veel installatietijd. Ook voor mensen zonder Linux ervaring is deze PC een aanrader!

I have been pondering Linux as a replacement for my aging WIndows 10 machine but daunted by the prospect of doing it from the ground up. The Laptopwithlinux configurator was easy to use and offered a fully functioning Linux system out of the box so I plucked up the courage to go ahead. I ordered on Wednesday morning, received advice that the order was complete by Thursday afternoon and had the laptop in my hands on Friday. Truly amazing for a laptop built to my specification.

Everything is good, i like my new working laptop. Nice building quality, nice display, nice keyboard, great performance and power safety.

Wat een fijn bedrijf. Op vragen mijnerzijds werd telefonisch met zorg en aandacht door Peter assistentie verleend. Deze Service was iets van vroeger dacht ik. Maar bij laptopoplinux verlenen ze nog steeds deze service ! De laptop arriveerde perfect verpakt en de kwaliteit straalt er letterlijk en figuurlijk vanaf !
