I ordered and received a Clevo laptop the other week. I had a couple custom requests for it; CachyOS instead of one of the verified distros, a RAM configuration that wasn't offered on the site, and I wanted to order and receive it while I was on vacation in the Netherlands. I wasn't sure if the latter was possible, due to staff availability during the summer vacation period. I reached out to them over Whatsapp prior to travelling to the Netherlands, and we worked out an agreement fairly quickly. They would test CachyOS for me, make sure it played nice with the hardware etc, and they offered me an easier payment option so I could use the site immediately rather than wait for a separate invoice to arrive (due to the non standard RAM). The RAM took a couple of extra days to source, which is not so strange in the current absurd RAM economy, but that was no problem. It took maybe four extra days for it to be sourced, otherwise I think the entire laptop would have been delivered in well under a week. As it stands, the entire process took eight days, which still fitted fine within my travel plans. I think my main takeaway from LaptopsWithLinux is just the excellent communication I experienced, the kind we have stopped expecting from many componanies and corporations across the world, perhaps to the point where we no longer feel inclined to reach out in the first place. Don't be with these people! Lay out your ideas and see what they have to say. One thing to note is that they do not appear to respond to WhatsApp messages on Fridays. That was no problem for me, but it is something to keep in mind. Email and phone responses may be different. I never had to wait longer than a day for a response, usually we managed to squeeze in one or two messages per day. All in all I'm very happy with the laptop I received. It has a good, strong build quality and using CachyOS for the first time, preconfigured was a breeze. I would 100% buy another laptop from them again.

I discovered "Laptop with Linux" after a lengthy search for a company in the UK that could supply a laptop without the Windows OS. I am really pleased with the laptop and was very happy with the delivery time. My new machine arrived a day earlier than expected.

great service answered my question quick before ordering even gave me some images of what it would look like with my design engraved ordered the laptop on Tuesday evening and received it all working great on Thursday i live in the uk so cant believe how quick it arrived the laptop has a good build quality to it was originally looking at a framework 13 but as the cost was nearly 2k glad i found this site and ordered from them as the build is great i can upgrade the ram and even add a second ssd if i want would recommend any one to buy from them as they are great laptops with great performance for the cost i will definitely buy my next one from them when this one is old and slow

Pros: Affordable, very good specs, technically and performance wise an excellent machine. Cons: It uses a keyboard layout with a keypad (no option to select no-keypad layout). Makes some typing awkward, like the shift keys are much smaller. The touchpad is also very large, but it appears to not be able to right click.

leider sind jetzt Probleme aufgetaucht. Das beworbene "Out of the box" hat wunderbar funktioniert. Leider lässt sich aber nach kurzer Zeit der Laptop nicht mehr hoch fahren. Der Schlüssel lässt sich noch eingeben. Das Passwort wird nicht mehr abgefragt. Es hängt beim LM Logo. Jetzt muss ich leider wieder meinen Windows Rechner benzutzen und mir jemanden suchen, der mir hier in Deutschland weiterhilft. Möglicherweise wäre es einfacher, wenn meine Englischkenntnisse besser wären um eine Lösung von Laptop with Linux zu bekommen. Trotzdem empfehle ich Laptop with Linux weiter.
