Interessante website. Bij het samenstellen van de laptops had ik een aantal vragen. Ik werd keurig teruggebeld na het inspreken van een boodschap. Ben prima geholpen, kreeg antwoord op mijn vragen en kon de bestelling daarna snel rondmaken. De volgende dag werden de bestelde laptops al bezorgd. Prachtige laptops.

I've preordered a TongFang laptop, which after some delay finally arrived on Oct 24. The USB Ethernet adapter I bought didn't work correctly, plus with some other smaller problems/questions I wrote a mail on 26 to their support email address. After not receiving any reply for a couple of days, I also sent a message on their website contact form, as of Nov 3 I still haven't received any reply. But in the meantime I received two automatic mails to rate them, so I did it. About the laptop: build quality looks OK, software/firmware is what you can expect from a Chinese brand, dmesg is full of "BIOS Error" lines, it has some HW without a mainline kernel driver (Ethernet and keyboard drivers). I expected a bit more from a company selling linux compatible laptops (setting up my previous linux unfriendly asus laptop wasn't more problematic than this). Yesterday the super (windows) button stopped working, even after rebooting or booting a live usb. I had to turn off the laptop, disconnect the charger, wait a minute or so, and start it again to fix this. Something is definitely buggy in the firmware. Update Nov 19: After writing a negative review here, I miraculously received a response the next workday :) I've received a replacement Ethernet adapter today which works correctly and my other issues have been solved in the meantime, the support was very responsive after the initial delay. I just wish they'd treat me like this since the beginning.

I was pleasantly surprised that my laptop was delivered to the UK within less than a week of the order being placed, and without any extra customs formalities or charges. It was great to be able to select which distro to have installed - this saved much of the effort usually required when setting up a new system. I would suggest that the order webpage could ask which desktop to install: it came with Gnome installed, but because I prefer KDE, I needed to install that first before doing the rest of my system setup. My only real reservation is that the keyboard lettering is over stylised, making it less easy to read. Otherwise, the laptop performs well and I'm happy with it.

The notebook is exactly to my speck with Ubuntu preinstalled, worked out of the box. Communication with the company was pleasant and efficient, both by phone and email. Importantly, I did not pay the VAT becaus the invoice was in the company name.

Very fast delivery and working fine the configuration. I can certainly recommend it.

I have been a linux user for a long time. I've used various computer vendors before and there were a lot of compatibility issues. LaptopwithLinux is in the true sense a supplier of Linux computers and exactly the kind of service that was missing.

Perfect for développement

Searching for a NUC mini with Ubuntu 24.04 LTS pre-installed, I found Laptop with Linux were able to supply an ASUS/Intel i5 with a good specification at a reasonable price. Selecting the memory required, etc. and placing the order online was easy. Delivery all the way from Holland was surprisingly rapid - it even arrived a day earlier than expected. The computer is set up exactly as I required and is working well. A good product and a very good service all round.

I am very happy with the laptop so far. The communication about the delivery delay could have been better.

I bought TongFang GM5IX 15.3″ Intel High-end Performance, I9 intel core. So far 2 weeks has passed since I bought it. I have not tested all the functionality, but generally it is ok. Only issue is that battery goes down very fast, I would say it lasts 3 hours maximum rather than 7 hours which was mentioned in the description. I do not play videogames, etzlc, just running some programming and linux codes.

My order was assembled and shipped (from the Netherlands to the USA) within 12 hours of submission, and arrived (in a far corner of Wyoming) in four days. Their "design your computer" web page is the best I've seen. They offer not only choice of installed distro, but also many popular apps, and include a USB memory stick with a self-installing drive image. And it arrived with a fully charged battery -- no waiting overnight for it to charge up. A truly "turn-key" experience in less time and better personal attention than many US vendors, who mostly sell a Windows-installed product and expect you to pay for the Windows license and then wipe the drive yourself and install Linux. If I could give LaptopWithLinux more than five stars, I would.

I searched an Ubuntu desktop computer. With the Google Search I found "Laptop with Linux." The Website of "Laptop with Linux" was well created, I ordered the HDMI mini PC with some supplements, payed uncomplicately, and got my mini PC within a very short time. SInce I tried to order a German keyboard and "Laptop with Linux" doesn't deliver such a keyboard, I was immediately contacted, the sales person offered me an US-American keyboard or alternatively a refund. I choosed a refund which I got within a short time. The Ubuntu desktop was well configured with some input of mine and I am still very satisfied with it. In my eyes this mini PC of "Laptop with Linux" is the best GNU/Linux computer I ever got. I can only say a big thank you to "Laptop with Linux."

Dit is mijn eerste laptop met Linux. Ik heb altijd Apple computers gehad. Een flinke overstap, maar met de begeleiding en support van Laptop-met-Linux is het makkelijker gemaakt. Een kort mailtje en direct antwoord. Even een vraag, meteen antwoord. Super!!! Dat heeft voor mij de doorslag gegeven.

The laptop is what exactly what I was looking for, the customer service is very careful, fast and caring. Really racomanded.

I've got my laptop in couple days from ordering. Communication with support was very responsive, Laptop is very nice, quality is OK, very good package protection.

I had a minor technical issue with a machine that I had purchased. Although it was a small issue, it could have created real difficulties for me. Fortunately, the problem was soon resolved over email - directly as a consequence of the excellent customer service. This included a personalized video showing me the steps necessary to check on a hardware component. In the end it turned out to be a Linux kernel version issue. I was impressed with both their technical skills and how quickly they responded to my questions.

Bought the Linux NUC 13 Mini Pc for £873 this July 2024. It took about 10 days to get here, and it didn't even function correctly. None of personalisation details I'd specified on the order were input to the O/S; and worst of all I couldn't get any Wireless Internet! Had to run a temporary Ethernet cable which fortunately I had kept from way back when.. Also no sound output at all. Not impressed at all, so I'm sincerely hoping I'll get a full refund as promised.

All my product specs and component questions plus other concerns were answered promptly to my satisfaction before my purchase . Questions after buying the laptop were answered quickly as well. I was very impressed with the packaging & attention to detail to protect the item for shipping. That speaks volumes to me how and what a business thinks of heir own merchandise.

I recommended Laptop met Linux to a friend, and now he's as pleased with his new laptop as I am with mine. It's great to deal with a company that has a genuine personal touch, instead of a call centre staffed by robots, or humans that sound like them. I would give Laptop met Linux six stars if I could!

My only regret is the battery life which is quite short (5 hours approx)

I ordered a Clevo NS50AU 15.6-inch Linux Ultrabook machine with OpenSUSE Tumbleweed and KDE desktop installed, and I cannot tell how much satisfied I am. As my first Linux machine it was very easy to get started and I like it more as I use it every day.

Mijn notebook was plotseling stuk gegaan en ze hebben me in minder dan een dag kunnen helpen zodat ik weer vooruit kon. Een dag later waren ook alle verdere migratie punten opgelost.

Ik zocht een lichtgewicht laptop met goede batterij duur die weinig geluid maakt. Na een paar emails uitgewisseld te hebben heb ik die kunnen bestellen.
