Dit is mijn eerste laptop met Linux. Ik heb altijd Apple computers gehad. Een flinke overstap, maar met de begeleiding en support van Laptop-met-Linux is het makkelijker gemaakt. Een kort mailtje en direct antwoord. Even een vraag, meteen antwoord. Super!!! Dat heeft voor mij de doorslag gegeven.

The laptop is what exactly what I was looking for, the customer service is very careful, fast and caring. Really racomanded.

I've got my laptop in couple days from ordering. Communication with support was very responsive, Laptop is very nice, quality is OK, very good package protection.

I had a minor technical issue with a machine that I had purchased. Although it was a small issue, it could have created real difficulties for me. Fortunately, the problem was soon resolved over email - directly as a consequence of the excellent customer service. This included a personalized video showing me the steps necessary to check on a hardware component. In the end it turned out to be a Linux kernel version issue. I was impressed with both their technical skills and how quickly they responded to my questions.

Bought the Linux NUC 13 Mini Pc for £873 this July 2024. It took about 10 days to get here, and it didn't even function correctly. None of personalisation details I'd specified on the order were input to the O/S; and worst of all I couldn't get any Wireless Internet! Had to run a temporary Ethernet cable which fortunately I had kept from way back when.. Also no sound output at all. Not impressed at all, so I'm sincerely hoping I'll get a full refund as promised.

All my product specs and component questions plus other concerns were answered promptly to my satisfaction before my purchase . Questions after buying the laptop were answered quickly as well. I was very impressed with the packaging & attention to detail to protect the item for shipping. That speaks volumes to me how and what a business thinks of heir own merchandise.

I recommended Laptop met Linux to a friend, and now he's as pleased with his new laptop as I am with mine. It's great to deal with a company that has a genuine personal touch, instead of a call centre staffed by robots, or humans that sound like them. I would give Laptop met Linux six stars if I could!

My only regret is the battery life which is quite short (5 hours approx)

I ordered a Clevo NS50AU 15.6-inch Linux Ultrabook machine with OpenSUSE Tumbleweed and KDE desktop installed, and I cannot tell how much satisfied I am. As my first Linux machine it was very easy to get started and I like it more as I use it every day.

Ik zocht een lichtgewicht laptop met goede batterij duur die weinig geluid maakt. Na een paar emails uitgewisseld te hebben heb ik die kunnen bestellen.

I have over time ordered six computers from Laptop with Linux, three of which have been passed on to others. I choose this supplier because I know that their computers will run Linux successfully. When you have chosen your computer model, you can choose the CPU, memory and SSD etc. They install the Linux version of your choice, and you can select additional software from a comprehensive range. Dispatch is prompt, often within 24 hours. And if you have problems with your machine the support is excellent. I can recommend Laptop with Linux without reservation.

I ordered a laptop with Linux Mint preinstalled, but once tested I reinstalled. Had problems with Wi-Fi, but contacted the support team, and got help very quickly. All Wi-Fi problems, and other hardware issues fixed with an updated kernel. Very good experience all round, highly recommended.

The product is expensive but the hardware assembly was as expected and it worth for having a custom, high performance, laptop. The software configuration was poor. Some software requested were not installed, the hostname was not updated as requested and the encryption was not what I asked, so I rebuilt the entire OS with the provided usb stick. The order process is fast and reliable, I got my PC in 3 days.

I was in the market for a dedicated Linux laptop and found this company after a google search. The prices for the base hardware seemed quite reasonable and I was delighted to find they offered laptops with no preinstalled OS and you can also install your own RAM and SSD. I received my laptop promptly, it was well package and secure. I'm only demoting them half a star because there were no instructions included on how to open the laptop case and locate the sections of the mainboard to fit the memory and RAM. Openning it was the laptop was a bit tricky as the base has two 'layers' and it wasn't clear to me if I should only unscrew the screws on the very bottom or if all the screws should come off. I noticed a screenshot on their sight showing a dissembled unit with the base completely exposed so I figured I should remove all the screws. I then took a very small flathead screw driver and tried to figure out how to remove the base. After some slight pressure it popped off. Next, I had to figure out where to attach the RAM and memory. Having built my own PC previously I was able to work out the spots after a few minutes. Also they include a small screw in the box to attach the NVMe to the mainboard, do not lose this! When I switched on the laptop for the first time. After a few seconds nothing happened and I was concerned I'd done something wrong. In fact everything was fine, just something delayed the system booting. Again some instructions saying that if you do build your own system there might be a slight delay to the laptop booting up for the first time would have been appreciated. However, in the end, I've not seen another firm offering a laptop where you can bring your own parts. So if you are confident with hardware pick up your laptop here!

Ordered a 14" laptop with one accessory on a Friday morning and b oth arrived safely by Monday lunchtime.

Ik ben zeer tevreden over de computer en de aangename gang van zaken en service. In de toekomst zal ik zeker weer een computer kopen bij Laptop met Linux.

I searched off and on for months to find someone who sells laptops with Linux preinstalled, specifically, Debian. Others only sold laptops with Windows, Ubuntu or some other distro I've never heard of. So, I was not comfortable that drivers would be available for all of the internal components. The ones who did sell Debian laptops didn't have the customization options offered by laptopwithlinux.com. So far, the service has been great! I am happy with my purchase.

I do have an issue with a notebook with a NVMe SSD and an internal SATA III SSD: While a 4TB internal SATA III SSD works fine, a 8TB SATA III SSD internally or externally does block the booting. I have now internally a 4TB SATA III SSD and I have to detach the external 8TB SSDs every time I boot. As soon as Windows is loading I can connect the 8TB drives. Since this is internally not possible I use now internally a 4TB SATA III drive.

Quick, clear and always eager to help if needed

After many years I wanted to go back to Linux, but I was afraid of all the problems of configurations needed for a laptop. I then found Laptop with Linux on the internet and after a lot of pondering I decided to try it. I am really happy with my new laptop. From order to delivery took less than a week and when the laptop arrived worked well soon!

Key point 1: More hardware configuration options than anywhere else I found. Key Point 2: they disclose everything about the hardware: most importantly what brand and model of SSDs they will install, whereas others hide it and just give you the specs, but don't say who made it. This is very important a there is a difference in reliability. Key point 3: Also, they offer a huge range of Linux operating systems they will pre-install for you, they will even for a modest fee change the bios (to Coreboot) for you - I couldn't do it myself. Frankly amazing service. All quick and problem free, and shipped to New Zealand, no problems.
