Pleasantly surprised by all aspects of this experience. Interaction with support was a pleasure. Very cooperative and quick to reply. Although I've only had it for a few days, the product seems to be of high quality and looks very nice. The configuration options actually allowed me to customize the laptop the way I wanted it, which I haven't been able to anywhere else.

Excellent service, service realy serious

Incredibly good product. The opportunity to build your own configuration is admirable. Great value for money. Fast delivery. The only con I see is the keyboard layout. It seems and feels good quality, but it has three teasing drawbacks: * lack of light indicators for CapsLock, NumLock and ScreenLock keys. Being minor at first glance, this requires pressing those keys multiple times to sort out what is its current mode. * lack of colour difference for keys used with Fn for some actions. Using multicolour notations makes life easier. * Home, End, Pg up and Pg down keys are not duplicated in the Fn + arrow keys. Being apart from one another makes typing less easy. Regardless, though, these shortcomings do not diminish the quality and pleasure of using the laptop. There is always room for improvement.

I am beginning to know this world of Linux, but I am very enthusiastic to deepen my learning. I hope to gain vast knowledge in this field.

Being allowed to choose from a wide list of hardware options, along with many software options, even the operating system, allowed me to have a system built to suite my needs perfectly. The choices offered for both hardware and software suggest they know their business Compared to many online services the user interface (UI) for selecting the above was a breath of fresh air. I Develop UI's and have to say this website provides an extremely positive user experience. The delivery process ran very smoothly. Dispatch was exactly as promised on their website. Placing my order was the last time I contacted them. No need for follow up emails or phone calls Once my purchase had been dispatched they informed me, and provided a tracking code.

I have installed and used Linux on many machines, but, at the age of 82, it is good to have someone else to choose suitable hardware, and to install the system and the some basic software. Laptop with Linux provide a first rate service, and I am, in fact, a returning customer. This time I need a larger, more powerful machine in order to run Windows on top of Linux VirtualBox. Regrettably, I need Windows to run Capture One photography software. For everything else my preferred OS is Linux Mint.

Keep us informed of progress of the computer build, was a perfect computer for my son's PhD studies in complex computer programming.

I had apt possibility of having the exact laptop for my fit made. And it was delivered with everything pre-installed within a week. I am very picky when it comes to keyboard layout, though. And my new laptop's undersized arrow keys bug me, coming from a Lenovo. I would also expect that I could use the usb-c dock without opening the laptop first, since having the laptop closed is kind of the point of a dock. But those are minor issues, and both something I am sure is out of the hands of Laptop With Linux. But then again, striving for tools much better than what you get with a pc or mac, is what I would hope that the Linux community could offer in time.

LWL was able to process and ship my order in just one buisness day after recieving my order, and I recieved it the next week exactly as expected. So far, delighted with my purchase. Only complaint is some of the screws seemed a bit too tight, causing me to strip a few of them when i opened it to complete my build after recieving it.

Needed to replace a part on my laptop. Second time it needed doing. The fault was at my end, not with the device. The wife had a cloth covering on the table, causing a issue with the fan. Peter, bless him, had the part ready and sent over to me in no time. (I'm in Ireland.) Every interaction I've had with this company has been both productive and wonderful. There's a drop down menu below this box asking "Would you recommend us?" It only gives two options. If I could I add a third option, "Yes, I ****ing would recommend them. "

I am giving a 5 stars rating for Great service even though LaptopWithLinux in the first place forgot to engrave my laptop as I had paid for. But the handling of the case once the mistake was realized was exemplary, the speed of action, the communication and attention was handled in the best possible way. Thank you!

The whole experience was superb. We ordered two custom build laptops with Ubuntu preinstalled. Both were shipped super fast, and we were up and running within a week. The HD encryption and custom user account saved us a lot of time reconfiguring the laptops. Everyone loves the custom laser engraving of our logo on the lid. We will be ordering again. We highly recommend it!

Simple and straight forward

I configured a mini-PC according to my requirements (easy to do on the website) and placed the order, which arrived within a few days. I had a slight glitch with my card payment, but LL gave me bank details and I was able to make the payment that way with no problem. A friendly and helpful company.

I expected a user manual, at least a link to a user manual. But no, nothing....less than nothing. Information online about this laptop is extremely sparse. Can I enter bios during boot? Who knows? Everything else has been stellar.

On a friday my personal laptop broke. Over the weekend I bought a new linux laptop from tuxedolaptops and it was there by early the next week. It runs super silently, was a good price for the hardware and I love the little etching touches that were not too much extra.

Everything was exactly as ordered. All software was installed and worked immediately upon startup. Delivery was made when expected without any delays.

Needed a Linux Laptop for a presentation. They also offered an option for a company logo, which turned out well. The computer works perfectly and looks great.
