Mijn Clevo met Ubuntu doet nog steeds wat hij moet doen: het is betrouwbaar en fraai gereedschap. Linux, respect voor persoonlijke data en veiligheid op het internet gaan hand in hand. Het systeem is veelzijdig en aanpasbaar, heeft respect voor de gebruiker. Wil je met rust gelaten worden op het net? Tor zit in de distro! Tijdens mijn recente pogingen om Tails op een USB te zetten kon ik altijd bij Peter terecht. Het internet moet terug naar de gebruiker, zo is het ooit begonnen. Het is geen privéspeeltuin van het grootkapitaal. Als dat je filosofie is kies je voor Linux.

In het verleden bestelde ik een laptop met Windows (want zonder kon je toen niet bestellen). En daarna zelf Linux installeren.... Dat hoeft nu dus niet meer. Bij Laptop-met-Linux installeren ze dat allemaal netjes voor je, met de gewenste computer naam en gebruiker, helemaal top!

I'm so happy to find a supplier that assemble laptops without OS or Linux if you want to choose one. By the moment the laptops are working really well and one important think, for me, is that the keypad are good. The support was fast and good wit some questions that we had. For me is a good choice, and if all will be working as good as now in a near futur, we will be bought the next laptops here.

I have used microsoft for years and become frustrated with their data gathering and forced updates that always leave a trail of damage in their wake. I Did a bit of research and found Linux Mint would be easier for me to make the transfer from microsoft win10 Did not want the uncertainty of buying hardware and then doing the Linux Mint install myself so I looked around and 'Laptop with Linux' popped up on my search. I Liked their website and the option to be able to configure your laptop with high end components that are matched to the laptops high specification. I was kept fully up to date with the laptop build and tracking and I received it in the UK from Holland in 3 days !!!! That is amazing. I should have made the move years ago to Linux.:-))) Far superior to microsoft in every single way and it is open source. Will definitely recommend Linux to my family members and friends Just need to learn about using the putty terminal and what commands that I should know, Laptop with Linux tick all the boxes. Overall an excellent company to do business with.

Mijn laptop hield er binnen de garantie-termijn mee op. Voor de garantie moest de laptop opgestuurd worden naar Clevo. Tijdens het wachten daarop kon ik een tijdelijke laptop lenen; de harde schijf werd ter plekke overgezet. Ik heb gelijk een extra ssd erin laten zetten toen de laptop terug kwam. Alleen jammer dat ze zover weg zitten.

Snel geleverd, enige probleem was dat UPS beloofde vrijdag af te leveren maar de levering doorschoof naar maandag.

Enquiries before purchase were answered promptly. Purchase, preparation and dispatch were seamless. Delivery (to UK from the Netherlands) was timely with regular updates from UPS. I ordered/paid on 1st November 2021 & received the laptop on 4th November. The laptop was securely packed and in good order. The hardware and software were exactly as ordered. Wifi & NVidia drivers were installed correctly and everything worked out of the box.

Needed to search to understand how the beautiful keyboard worked. The laptop itself is blisteringly fast. Great price. My only issue is not with the Laptop or the shipping. It is with Brexit. Using UPS to collect the VAT & Duty makes it hard to allocate the cost of VAT against the actual Laptop, as they are two different bank transactions. Not your problem at all, and I don't know how you could even begin to address it.

This is my first computer from LaptopwithLinux. I wanted to buy a fast silent computer suitable for web programming and after various researches I decided to rely on this company. Expectations were not disappointed. A fast, light and quiet computer that I use on a daily basis for my job as a programmer. Very good excellent laptop with excellent specs and speed, I had a slight problem with user name but that was my thought, very happy with the Linux system.

Zaterdag besteld, maandag verzonden, dinsdag in huis, kan niet sneller! En het apparaat werkt meteen prima, ik heb nog geen foutje kunnen ontdekken.

Over een tijdje ben ik van dat verrekte google af, hopelijk Deze computer werkt snellen dan mijn oude chromebook. Veel functies begrijp ik nog niet, maar daarnet mijn Protonmail aan de praat gekregen. toetsenbord is effe wennen maar goed hoe dat icoontje van proton op het scherm moet komen is mij nog een raadsel, maar een bookmark werkt wellicht ook Voor mijn oude ogen zijn de lettertjes wat klein, kan je die standaard groter maken? of per keer ctrl+ gebruiken? Het voordeel is = de rest van mijn leven heb ik de tijd om er aan te wennen., groet

I was so happy with my new Linux laptop but after one day it was obvious that something was wrong. There was a flaw in the bios which made it overheat and crash. These great people took full responsibility for returning it to them for speedy repairs and returning it back to me. Not only did I get a great laptop but I got great service.

I am pleased with the full service rendered by Comexr B.V. and Peter Pont. From the time I contacted Peter to understand more about the laptops configured with Linux installations by Comexr B.V., I was given honest feedback and guidance. Peter helped me understand what would be installed and how the new laptop would be configured to my specific requirements. I am happy to say that my journey with Comexr B.V. and a new laptop with Ubuntu has just begun and I believe the first step has been phenomenally planned.

The price point, service, and features provided by laptop with Linux were reasonable, fair, and timely. I received my order within 1 week with no issues and both the hardware and software were correct. I was impressed by the level of customization, which actually included the option of only using a single dimm socket at maximum capacity to allow one socket to remain open. The distro installation was great as was the option to include LUKS encryption from the get go. This is the best laptop buying experience I have ever had and when I buy my next personal laptop it will be from this site.

I knew what I wanted from a PC but didn't have the knowledge to build one myself or to know which components would work best with what other parts. This was easy to sort out in the streamlined and methodical way of simply specifying what you needed at from each option on their website meaning I ended up with a mini-PC that has everything I need and probably a little more. When I had a problem with getting to login they were quick to respond with a solution.

I have so far purchased both Clevo laptops and a Gigabyte mini-PC. I happy with the products and generally speaking with the service provided by laptopmetlinux. Website: the interface is user friendly: reasonably clean and easy to follow. Allowing inserting VAT number in the invoice is a plus. An issue which I encountered specifically for the mini-PCs was that the form to select a second hard drive would only pop up after selecting the operating system, which does not seem very logical. It was also not clear from the initial page which mini-PC models allowed for a second hard drive either. A separate problem I have with the website is that there is no way - at least that I could find - to store a particular configuration without committing to the final purchase. It would be helpful to make comparisons. Delivery and customer service: delivery was fast and reply to requests was also quick and helpful. There is a FAQ in the website with useful information (e.g., the BIOS shortcut key). Laptops: The Clevos I bought are really nice. They are well thought, for example with two long rubber strips underneath, instead of four tiny ones, the on/off button is on the side, and other such details. They are solid, cool (temperature-wise) and light. They have some quirks, though: restoring after closing the lid sometimes fails and restart is needed. Mini-PC: My most recent purchase was a Gigabyte Brix. By default the fan is very noisy, but setting indicator-cpufreq to powersave solves that. It is also hotter than laptops while idle (over 50C instead of under 40C) but when running calculations it is actually quieter and faster. Laptopmetlinux is the third Linux-laptop seller that I have purchased from, and the one I am most happy with. While products and service remain good and the price accessible I will remain a customer.

Laptop with Linux is a great company for custom-built laptops with a linux distro preloaded (or none, your choice!). I compared with some other companies and this was the one who would provided exactly what I needed, without unwanted extras. I found the ordering page on the website to be very transparent and intuitive; the choices over each component is shown in a very clear fashion, and in case you're not sure, they tell you each time which option is most popular. The turnaround was rapid; I placed my order and the laptop arrived securely packed, and nothing more was needed than to turn it on. Great service and I recommend them to anyone.
