I could immediately see the keyboard isn't flat, it has some curvature under it's surface. The lack of backlight is described on the order but not noticeable, unpleasant surprise. The sound is very poor. Importantly - the screen shows strange glitches from time to time. And the trackpad is super resistant for clicking and holding - drag and drop hardly even possible. I might have better impression after some time pass. For now the device does not feel reliable, from the first impression.

Despite a problem in the payment (which was quickly replied to and fixed), my laptop came very quickly and is exactly what I wanted. Top notch service.

Could not ask for more

Alles zeer goed verlopen eigenlijk. Paar opmerkingen toch: - Wat problemen gehad met UPS in België maar daar kan LmL niks aan doen. - Website: extra functies om te filteren en vergelijken zou handig zijn.

I would like to mention a few things from our experience: * laptop is very quiet, it is very nice for both office and home; * there are many different ways to pay for the order. My bank declined card payment, but wire transfer went well in a few days; * delivery was very quick and we got box right to the door of our office; * there was a problem with preinstalled software, but we got useful advice within one day from sending the request.

I am impressed with the ease of configuring and ordering a computer, and by the prompt dispatch. Overall, I am satisfied with the quality of the computer. I am disappointed by the fact that there are no lights to indicate when the Caps Lock or Num Lock are on, and by the poor resolution of the built-in webcam.

De keuze voor linux op een machine is geen moeilijke, maar een laptop vinden met linux voorgeinstalleerd is wel een flinke opgave. Gelukkig LaptopMetLinux gevonden, en ook zeer aangenaam verrast dat we de configuratie van de laptop ook zelf konden (laten) aanpassen. Hierdoor konden we de laptop dusdanig aanpassen dat het voldeed aan onze eisen. Het enige minpunt is dat ik initieel een configuratie had gemaakt om te kijken wat de mogelijkheden waren en de uiteindelijke prijs, maar de laptop werd uiteindelijk een paar dagen later definitief besteld. In deze periode waren de prijzen van een aantal onderdelen (geheugen, SSD) gestegen, met als gevolg een hogere prijs.

I ordered a nice all AMD laptop with a 256GB m.2 SSD. Installed arch linux on it and am very happy with the performance and overall experience.

Prima laptop gekregen. De upgrades die ik zelf wilde doen waren goed mogelijk; bereikbaarheid van RAM en schijven is uitstekend. Linux installeerde heel vlot, zoals beloofd. Ik moest alleen voor het LED-keyboard een kernel module compileren, maar zo moeilijk is dat nu ook niet. Wat me een beetje tegenviel was de uitstraling van het plastic van de schil van de laptop. Dat is wel stevig, maar doet wat goedkoop aan, en is een magneet voor vette vingers. Maar misschien was dat ook wel te verwachten voor deze prijs. Levering was overigens vlot en de laptop was goed verpakt. Dat is ook niet onbelangrijk, want daardoor is 'ie onbeschadigd aangekomen.

I contacted Laptop with Linux to assist me with upgrading my Zorin OS on the laptop I had previously purchased from them. (No issues whatsoever with the laptop, strictly a preference to move to the latest version of the OS.) Laurens worked with me in 2 different sessions, assisted with multiple other Linux-related requests, including completing setup of my Xerox MultiPurpose printer. and discussing options of configuring with Wine. I couldn't be happier with the non-standard customer service offered by Laptop with Linux or with the interaction with Laurens. He was professional, effective, and personable - I greatly enjoyed working with him and am very happy with the results we achieved.

Inmiddels een "vaste klant". Begin 2021 een laptop aangeschaft... Vlekkeloos snel geleverd en nog steeds een fantastisch apparaat. Recentelijk een NUC aangeschaft, ondanks de feestdagen snel geleverd en helemaal top! En, als ik al vragen heb response tijden zijn super! Het is bijna alsof iemand naast je zit om je persoonlijk te begeleiden. Kortom, niets dan lof! Van dit bedrijf kunnen velen nog een hoop leren.

Everything went smooth, add a kbd and screen and you get a fully working workstation. I liked it.
