The problem concerns FirefoxESR. The app works fine but I would like to use "Flatpak" to install normal Firefox. In order to do this I need to uninstall Firefox ESR. When I list installed apps in Software the app FirefoxESR does not appear. Why is this?

I was shopping for a replacement PC with Linux. I was very impressed with the selections offered. There was a minor issue of a missing power cord that was expeditiously responded to by the Customer Service. What more could anyone ask of a company? As for the mini computer itself, I couldn't be more satisfied. I was a system administrator for an oil & gas company for 22 years and have experience with purchasing and maintaining PC's for a large company. So I know quality when I see it. Quality One here.

The support in presale was quick and honest. Delivery was very quick and product was as expected and described.

I have bought several laptops. My contact with the company has always been friendly and professional, and the machines competitively priced.

Everything surpassed my expectations (from delivery times to the quality of the product).

I wanted something considerably better than a Pi 5 and finished up with an i5 NUC13. Worked first time out-of-the-box with Debian 12 pre-installed. I've now replaced Debian, first with Fedora 41, and now FreeBSD 42. Both without issue. A hassle free experience - just what I was hoping for.

I have purchased 3 laptops from laptop with linux and am completely satisfied with them. I will only buy my computers from them going foreward. I have only one issue, I wish it were easier to get drivers and firmware updates for my specific machines. I could not find a link to firmware or bios updates on the website. It was a bit difficult to find information online as I wasn't sure who made the motherboard. I had to refer to my paperwork that was sent with the machine to discover the information needed. This is a very small complaint, overall I am completely happy with my purchase.

My laptop was delivered to me with 3 working days of having ordered it. They even installed apps not in their standsrd list without any additional cost to me.

The laptop was expeditiously sent and configured as I asked for it to be. Their packaging though, 3 boxes nested one inside of the other, could be considered over-kill mind you. One fewer boxes probably wouldn't hurt but that's just IMO. Otherwise this laptop is much sturdier than my old Dells (both sets have a known design flaw with their hinge system). Those two fell apart on me within two years or so. I doubt that will happen with this one.

I usually don't write reviews and I am concerned that a long 5 star review will make it look like a fake. It is not, it is a rare exception. But oh well, it is what it is. Before I bought this, I contacted the support (email) and was surprised with how fast and informative my email exchange with the support was. My long time opinion has been that if you want to know about a company, before buying, contact their support. Your experience their will tell you everything you need to know. I was surprised with responsiveness and knowledge of the support person. When you contact them, you will NOT find a guy that is clueless, barely-speaking heavily accented English, @$1/hr, in a 3rd world country reading from a manual. I was concerned about buying a laptop from Netherlands (I am in USA). But the thing showed up in 4 days. This thing comes with 2 USB-C , 4 USB-A, HDMI and an ethernet (!!) port. Good luck trying to find a laptop like that these days. And the 250W power supply is so tiny, half the size of others that I have used. This actually came with important info, such as what is the root & login password :-D Based on experiences buying other laptops, that is an unusually high level of service :-D The ability to request certain software (Browsers, Tor, Virtual Box &etc) to be preinstalled probably saved me a day of agony. The laptop fired up and runs fine. I am yet put it through the paces. But it appears to be a solid build and all future problems I expect to be with the OS software. In which, Linux has never disappointed to challenge my knowledge, expectations and sanity. But that's another kettle of fish. In summary: I am a software developer and have bought many laptops in the past (Dell, Toshiba, Lenovo, System76 & etc) but so far this is the best laptop buying experience.

Mini-computer: mooie, sobere vormgeving. Hij is snel en geruisloos. Besturingssysteem Linux/Ubuntu is nieuw voor mij, maar bevalt buitenmate. Boek waarin Ubuntu wordt uitgelegd, kan ik aanraden. Website en afhandeling van aankoop vielen ook in de smaak.

Na telefonisch contact met Peter besloten te gaan voor een TongFang GX5 15.3-inch Metal Ultrabook. Mijn 2TB SSD uit mijn Clevo gehaald en in de TongFang gezet en was voor 99% weer operationeel. Aan alleen sommige scherm indelingen bij verschillende applicaties moesten enkele aanpassingen worden gedaan. De reden dat ik mijn Clevo heb vervangen was de mechanisch constructie van de scharnieren, verder had ik geen klachten over de Clevo. Met vriendelijk groet, Ton Pfundt

Omdat ik niet deskundig genoeg ben om zelf een laptop samen te stellen, heb ik advies gevraagd en gekregen. Als beginner met linux moet ik nog wel een beetje puzzelen, maar nu weet ik tenminste dat ik een laptop heb met de juiste onderdelen.

Ik ben woonachtig in het buitenland maar aan het einde van de maand kan ik een oordeel over de laptop geven

Emails were answered promptly with all detail. It's good to see a company out there that offers the equivalent to Dell/Windows: A configurable laptop with Linux pre-installed. It can be a bit of a hassle to get all Linux drivers and properties working on a top notch laptop. They offer file system encryption and installation of popular applications. And you can get your own logo on it. No need to buy Windows and dump it.

Item quickly delivered. As small mistake in the product shipped, but which has been taken care of as soon as I have contacted them.
