Voldoet ruim aan mijn verwachting. Heb tot nu toe nog niet alles gebruikt en/of uitgezocht. Wel gemerkt dat de ventilator af en toe zich laat horen, toch is de laptop niet overbelast.

My first order was in July 2022. I received my third Laptop With Linux April 19, 2023. UPS shipping from the Netherlands to the U.S.A. has been FAST each time -- less than 48 hours! Triple boxed ensured no damage. I have the NS70 and now NL51 (with AMD Ryzen 7). Each one is great. Peter Pont is really great to work with. He truly cares about the customer and gives excellent service. He is honest, hard working, and keeps his promises. Give LWL a try. Reasonable customers should be pleased with what they receive.

Professional seller and product that meets my expectations

The laptop's performances are really impressive ! The only con is the fan which is abnormally loud and discharges the battery faster than it should during normal use. I know this is a known issue with "on-demand" Linux devices. A custom temperature/fan speed curve might be doing the job in future setups.

Mijn harde schijf in de laptop van 2 maanden oud heeft het begeven. Heb hem zelf even gebracht en de reparatie is onmiddellijk uitgevoerd en heel veel moeite gedaan om nog gegevens van de harde schijf te halen, maar dat is jammer genoeg niet gelukt. Opnieuw Linux Mint geïnstalleerd en ben kort daarna weer met de laptop vertrokken! Wat een fantastische service!

Het duurde even voordat het bestelde boek binnen kwam omdat het uitverkocht was maar dit werd keurig gecommuniceerd.

Wonderful I loved it at first sight, especially the look and the configuration. I will start studying it little by little until my learning is complete. I am making my migration from Microsoft to LINUX. I have already started a practical course on Linux, and I hope to soon finish the training and then go down the paths of programming and server installation. If there is anything you can advise me I would be very pleased. Thank you very much

There was a minor issue with the LED lights of the keyboard, which was resolved in no time, after contacting Peter by mail. Battery life was supposed to last 10-14 hours, but I found it to be slightly less - that's the only criticism I can find, hence the 9 out 10. The laptop is sturdy and works as expected.

Laptop met Linux picks up the phone when you call them. They hear you. They are 100% willing to help you, even with a vague computer problem. They fix your vague computer problem (at least it looks like they did fix mine!) Again, amazing service!

The entire experience, from purchase options to website operation to shipping to product plug and play out of the box was excellent. The only thing we don't know is anything about customer support be a use we haven't needed it. Very pleased.

The laptop arrived a few days after purchase. The keys feel great and I am very happy with the screen. The only negative is that the power port is not USB-C and I have to go hunting for the power cord if i forget it at the house. This is a downside since most laptops now support USB-C. It's a headache carrying around this brick that is bulky and huge. The tilt hing on the screen is good and lifts the laptop keyboard up which is great for typing. I love the configurable options. I was happy to be able to add my own 64GB of RAM instead of buying pre-configured which would have been way more expensive. The built in speakers are garbage and terrible and they really made me debate returning the unit.

I was looking for a cooling system replacement for my laptop. I had a helpful conversation with Peter Pont (the System76 user manual is not accurate), and I finally ordered a fan. Thank you for your help and your service.

Vrij lang met mijn oude laptop (11 jaar oud) aan het klooien geweest. Oude harde schijf was op z'n eind, nieuwe SSD erin, maar ik kreeg op geen enkele manier Ubuntu en/of Mint er op geïnstalleerd. Besluit genomen om een nieuwe laptop aan te schaffen via Laptop met Linux. Woensdag besteld, vrijdag geleverd. Alles wat ik wenste zat er op en er aan. Zeer tevreden.

Ik ben nu een jaar of 10 een trouwe gebruiker van Ubuntu. De reden van overstap van Windows was destijds dat ik genoeg had van die “machtspelletjes”. Ubuntu had uk zelf op een oude laptop geïnstalleerd naar volle tevredenheid. Iedere keer trouw de LTS versies ge-update. Maar gedurende de jaren werd de oude laptop steeds trager; omdat een oude laptop ook oude hardware heeft. Op zoek naar iets snellers kwam ik uit bij LML. Na kort twijfelen, aangezien dit toch een stuk duurder was dan ik gewend ben, heb ik de 14” Clevo samengesteld en besteld op maandag-avond. Geweldig snelle en goede levering werd gedaan op de volgende woensdagmiddag; uitermate goed ingepakt, super werkende en snelle laptop met de laatste versie van Ubuntu: LTS 22-04. Tot nu toe (na een halve week) ben ik uitermate tevreden, zo wel met de service als met de laptop, het OS en de programma’s. Perfekt gewoon. Dank je/jullie wel. PS Een score van 8 omdat ik vind dat er altijd iets te verbeteren is; voor mij is dat op dit moment de prijs zogezegd, die vond ik toch wel behoorlijk.

It was a breeze to order the laptop and it arrived as was planned. I also contacted customer support afterwards and I got helpful replies. The linux installation does seem to have some glitches which i have noted at boot time. I wish to fix them but I am hoping I will continue to get help.

Uitgaand van wat ik wilde heb ik de laptop in overleg met een medewerker samengesteld. Op aspecten van de configuratie waarover ik vragen had kreeg ik voldoende duidelijkheid zodat ik de juiste keuzes kon maken. Ik werk nu sinds een week naar volle tevredenheid, en met veel plezier, met mijn nieuwe laptop. Hulde.

Prompt response to issue of not booting with external 7.68TB Micron 5210 SSD connected either to USB 3.0 or USB C. Turned out to be my problem: There are rare cases where laptops whith an externally connected HDDs or SSDs, in my case a 7.68TB Micron 5210 SSD do not boot. I have a Tuxedo laptop with this problem, and now a Clevo notebook from LaptopwithLinux. However, In these rare cases where a computer does not boot if an external drive is connected one can low format the external drive (HDD or SSD), format the drive again, and put the data back on the drive. In two external drives this solved the problem: My old Tuxedo notebook as well as my new LaptopwithLinux notebook are now booting with the culprit external drives connected without any issues.

For something to improve, please allow HDD-only for all combinations, the speed difference is not so significant with large RAM caches.

It took just four days from ordering to delivery. It worked straight out of the box. My only slight quibble is that the company says that its products are Windows compatible, and the box I bought was. However, the system does not have a TPM chip, so installing Windows 11 needed some modification to the registry, which was a bit of a fiddle, but not too difficult. I now have it running Windows 11 Pro and Linux Mint as a virtual machine. So far, so good....

Duidelijk en overzichtelijk proces om de machine te samenstellen. Behoorlijk snel geregeld. Persoonlijk opgehaald en prettig te woord gestaan en vlot weer op pad. Machine werkt perfect, zoals verwacht, zeer vlot met mega opslagruimte en prima beeld. Aparte partitie voor de home directory is ingesteld zoals gevraagd.

Teveel gerekende voor bezorging werden spontaan zonder dat ik erom vroeg de volgende dag teruggestort omdat jullie ontdekt hadden dat verzending veel goedkoper kon

Schnelle Bestellabwicklung und Lieferung. Hardware funktioniert einwandfrei unter dem eingesetzten Linuxsystem. Nur die Druckereinstellung war in den Systemsettings nicht aufzufinden. Erst nach Internetrecherche war die Druckereinstellung möglich. Akkukapazität ist mit 2,75h Laufzeit für diesen Laptop an der unteren Grenze.

I couldn't be happier, I was able to get an awesome fast Linux laptop with a COMPLETELY CUSTOM keyboard layout AND FONT for cheap! Will absolutely be using them again :) <3 Thank you for making my day

Laptop delivered promptly and without any problems

I ordered my laptop without an OS or RAM or Storage. I ordered the RAM and Storage from a US supplier. LaptopwithLinux outperformed the US supplier on delivery! I needed to contact support to resolve the backlit keyboard driver issue. The response was quick and a link to the driver was provided, but it was not available in a package format for my preferred distribution. I was able to track down the source and compile the driver through the information provided. I can state this laptop is Slackware Linux compatible in addition to the distributions available for pre-installation. Overall, I am more than pleased with the laptop, company, and the service.
