The PC works well, but I’ve encountered one small issue—and found a solution for it: Sometimes, upon startup, the screen and everything else go black. It doesn’t respond to the keyboard or anything else; the only way to fix it is to restart using the power button. However, I discovered by chance that simply unplugging or plugging back in the power cable resolves the entire problem immediately.

Ik kocht een TongFang GX4 14-inch Metal Ultrabook. Een prachtig apparaat met een zeer hoge schermhelderheid. Binnen een paar dagen had ik hem in huis en kon aan de slag. Hulde!

Mijn nieuwe laptop, een Tong Fang X6 (Intel CPU) met Linux Mint werd helemaal naar wens geïnstalleerd. Ook met opmerkingen werd rekening gehouden (bij vb. root filesystem met btrfs). E-mails werden vlot beantwoord, zowel vóór, tijdens als na de aankoop. De laptop werd, zoals gewenst, geleverd in een DHL postpunt in de buurt van mijn vakantieadres aan de Belgische kust. Mooie korting van € 100 gekregen! Twee kleine opmerkingen die niet voldoende doorwegen om minder dan 5 sterren te geven in de beoordeling: 1) Instalatie-USB-stick ontbrak tijdens de levering, maar werd ondertussen snel nageleverd, waarvoor dank! 2) het schroefje voor de bevestiging van een 2de SSD was iets te lang. Ik heb een SSD die ik voor mijn vorige laptop had gekocht in de nieuwe laptop gemonteerd als 2de SSD. Gelukkig had ik een korter schroefje in huis.

Not had a chance to properly set up my new laptop yet, but it's delivered to spec, and is a nice solid machine. No complaints there. The information can generally be obtained when requested, but having more of it readily available would significantly improve the customer experience. The keyboard bends slightly in the middle. The camera cover was attached crookedly, and you have to push hard to open it all the way; I think I'll remove it.

Doet wat het beloofd. Vriendelijk en heel behulpzaam. Verademing met reguliere suppliers die computers verkopen. Even schakelen van Microsoft naar Linux.....maar dit voelt veel veiliger.

The ordering process was easy. Lots of different ways to configure a laptop. I ordered a Linux system because I was tired of the big two, Windows and Chrome because of there polices and what they are doing with track ware. I'm new to Linux and still learning. If want to get away from the big two, look into Laptop With Linux.

I can't fault laptop with Linux. Laptop pricing is very attractive in comparison to some competitors. Both pre-sales and post sales support is very swift and helpful beyond the sales pitch. From order to delivery by a trusted courier was super fast especially with being an international order. Being able to upgrade disk and memory gives the laptop longevity beyond the lifespan of most other options. I wouldn't hesitate to purchase another laptop from Laptop with Linux.

I ordered a Tongfang GX5 15,3 on a Tuesday from Germany and it arrived Thursday the same week. After some minor issue during the ordering process and contact with the very friendly and fast customer service, the issue was easily fixed. I was surprised that the delivery was one day before the estimated delivery date. So the ordering process and the delivery was very fast! The Laptop itself is of an impressive quality and the operating system worked mostly out of the box, the missing services for bluetooth and smb are fixed in minutes, so over all I`m absolutely satisfied with the laptop and this company!!! The speed of the Ryzen 9 HX370 and the Samsung evo 2tb is fantastic and the power consumption is below 5 watt watching a movie from my nas. Well done, Laptop with Linux

Na het uitpakken vond ik een zeer beperkte toelichting, helaas niet in het Nederlands. In D en E net genoeg voor knoppen, ingangen en indicators, net genoeg om de laptop aan te zetten. Daarna werd het uitvogelen mbt de programma’s, vastzetten op balk en omzetting password. Bij een toegevoegde USB stick zonder naam erop, had ik ook wel wat toelichting gewild.

I ordered a laptop from Laptop with Linux on a Thursday and it was with me on the following Monday (from the NL to the UK). There is a good choice of hardware and software you can request, including which distribution you want and so you don't have to worry about installation or major tweaking of your set up. Also, all the components work together and there's no worrying about having incompatible hardware. My new laptop slotted right in with my existing docking station and I got it to work with my external monitors swiftly. The combination of new AMD processors and an SSD means that it is lightning fast compared to my old machine which had a HDD and obviously earlier processors. I couldn't be happier with my new computer! Great stuff.
