I wanted a computer with Linux preinstalled, they sent me one. I didn't have any issue with it so far.

Quick delivery, good hardware, but most important: If there's any problem or question, the staff is very helpful and solution-oriented, and really takes care of the issue. Here you're not just another number in the line. If I need another laptop or mini-computer, I'll come back to these guys.

The laptop is well built and it is very fast. I did have one small issue to solve. Peter answered my email quickly and gave the support needed to correct the issue. Now my laptop is perfect. It's the best computer I have used.

It's early days, but so far I'm really happy with the Linux gigabyte mini pc I bought. The machine runs smoothly, and is exactly what I was hoping for (I am using it to write code mostly). Very happy customer.

the service is perfect fast and the delivery good. the custom super key and the logo engraved on lid are perfect. Keyboard selection and configuration are good. The quality of the product is good but not as good as it should be at this price. The overall quality is cheap looking. The plastic of the laptop has nothing to do with the magnesium name. The keyboard is ok but not premium. The pad is ok but the system has latency with zooming which must not append with such CPU and RAM amount in linux. The connectivity is not good: one unique USB-c is not enough and the power port with this power adapter is a huge mistake from the past. The power must be on usb-c. At this price, I can buy a macbook Air with similar capacities but real better quality.

I purchased the Clevo L141MU 14-inch Magnesium laptop. It's thin and very light. I've only had the laptop a few days, but the battery life does seem capable of reaching 14 hours or more as advertised, depending on your choice of Linux distribution and what software you use. Certain web browsers drain the battery much faster than others and can cut the battery life in half. I'm currently using Fedora Silverblue 35 running GNOME. I was surprised that the laptop looks and feels more like plastic to me than metal. But overall, I love the look and feel of this machine. It's a sleek computer with no branding and nothing extravagant. It's humble yet powerful. With an NVMe drive, Core i7 processor, and Intel Iris Xe graphics, this is the fastest machine I've ever owned. GNOME 41 absolutely shines on this device. On the downside, the fan kicks in a lot for me, and the bottom chassis makes noise if I pick it up one handed to the right of the touchpad. This could be from me screwing the bottom back on wrong, but I see no indication of that. The website says this machine is military grade, but it's so thin and light-feeling that I still feel the need to be gentle with it. I can't speak to how durable it is. In short, the computer isn't perfect, but I'm happy with the experience of purchasing this laptop and the end product that I received.

There was a delay in my order do to a missing part, but the team at Laptops with Linux where a great help keeping me updated and trying to find solutions. My Laptop arrived very quick after it was shipped and I couldn’t be happier with it. Its fast, quite and doesn’t run hot after a few mins of using it. I really like the custom engraving I got on the lid. I would definitely recommend them to anyone looking for a new laptop. My laptop had better specs than most other brands of the same price.

This is because they have a position, a considered, ethical stance based on concern for freedom, internet security and the privacy of all of us. Informed by that outlook any company will approach its work and its customers they way this bunch do. No, it didn't arrive on time - it was two days early! The computer was exactly as orderd and worked straight out of the box. I would recommend them to anybody even if only to find that there are ways to run companies honestly and kindly. Oh, and they were very helpful to me during the "make my mind up phase" - compared to most they went out of their way to help me but I was left with the distinct impression that was their way.

I was shopping around for different options to try and find a replacement for my old laptop that was hanging on by a thread. Looking at the "standard options" for the specs i wanted was way out of my price range and I'd be paying for licenses i wouldn't need because i would immediately swap over to my preferred Linux distro anyways. Then I found this site when looking for alternatives to the standard fare of laptops on the market. I started playing around with the specs and how i could push my budget the furthest. I was not disappointed in the slightest, i got more than i could've imagined in a laptop at a comparatively very inexpensive price relative to alternatives with similar specs. My laptop arrived very quickly from across the Atlantic. Even though I knew it would take about a day for my order to be fulfilled and shipped, I was still thoroughly impressed with how quickly i got the first shipping notification. The laptop itself is very nice, i got the 15.3 inch AMD metal design. It runs like a dream and the keyboard is also a pleasure to use. It's not the sexiest laptop out there, but, like me, you can very easily make up for that if you want to push the specs to the max your budget allows because no OS licenses or antivirus bloatware licenses are tacked onto the price. You can put more money into hardware upgrades and other accessories you might need instead of bloat you don't want.

Probably because of the global shortage of components, one of the options I chose was not available and I was given an upgrade to the a slightly better version at no extra charge. I am very pleased with the laptop. It is solid and well made and performing flawlessly.
