I knew what I wanted from a PC but didn't have the knowledge to build one myself or to know which components would work best with what other parts. This was easy to sort out in the streamlined and methodical way of simply specifying what you needed at from each option on their website meaning I ended up with a mini-PC that has everything I need and probably a little more. When I had a problem with getting to login they were quick to respond with a solution.

I have so far purchased both Clevo laptops and a Gigabyte mini-PC. I happy with the products and generally speaking with the service provided by laptopmetlinux. Website: the interface is user friendly: reasonably clean and easy to follow. Allowing inserting VAT number in the invoice is a plus. An issue which I encountered specifically for the mini-PCs was that the form to select a second hard drive would only pop up after selecting the operating system, which does not seem very logical. It was also not clear from the initial page which mini-PC models allowed for a second hard drive either. A separate problem I have with the website is that there is no way - at least that I could find - to store a particular configuration without committing to the final purchase. It would be helpful to make comparisons. Delivery and customer service: delivery was fast and reply to requests was also quick and helpful. There is a FAQ in the website with useful information (e.g., the BIOS shortcut key). Laptops: The Clevos I bought are really nice. They are well thought, for example with two long rubber strips underneath, instead of four tiny ones, the on/off button is on the side, and other such details. They are solid, cool (temperature-wise) and light. They have some quirks, though: restoring after closing the lid sometimes fails and restart is needed. Mini-PC: My most recent purchase was a Gigabyte Brix. By default the fan is very noisy, but setting indicator-cpufreq to powersave solves that. It is also hotter than laptops while idle (over 50C instead of under 40C) but when running calculations it is actually quieter and faster. Laptopmetlinux is the third Linux-laptop seller that I have purchased from, and the one I am most happy with. While products and service remain good and the price accessible I will remain a customer.

Laptop with Linux is a great company for custom-built laptops with a linux distro preloaded (or none, your choice!). I compared with some other companies and this was the one who would provided exactly what I needed, without unwanted extras. I found the ordering page on the website to be very transparent and intuitive; the choices over each component is shown in a very clear fashion, and in case you're not sure, they tell you each time which option is most popular. The turnaround was rapid; I placed my order and the laptop arrived securely packed, and nothing more was needed than to turn it on. Great service and I recommend them to anyone.

My order was shipped out promptly and was trackable. When I had a problem customer was was extremely quick to respond and sorted it almost instantly. One issue is that the laptop is slightly too hard and angular on the edges, which means it can be a bit hard on the hands

This service never falls short. All my requests have been addressed promptly and in a reliable way.

Despite being located in the Netherlands, I was able to get my laptop shipped to the US in 4 days, which was faster or as fast as any other place located much closer. I ordered the laptop without RAM or SSD and had no trouble installing them myself saving me a ton of money, which is great. The only things I don't like about the laptop are the keyboard - I would much much rather have my right shift key be shortened than my left, otherwise it types okay, the speakers - not great quality, headphones are almost a must, and the fans - I still need to do more testing, but the fans come on at random times at max speed for short intervals. I don't know if this is because of the temperature sensor or what, but it's very annoying. It could also be a software issue, but, like I said, I am still looking more into it. Overall the laptop works great with a nice, bright screen that works well.

The product was excellent, the service was responsive and competent. Bravo!

I was skeptic about buying in laptopwithlinux.com but, considering the high prices Windows computers offered by Dell, Lenovo and others, I thought it would worth give them a chance. I don't regret. The computer is amazing, considering the price. I bought an i7 10540u with 16 GB RAM and 500 GB SSD with Ubuntu and I paid 1,000 CAD less than a similar Windows model offered by the companies, even paying all taxes and delivery fees. The laptop is light weight and have an excellent design. Highly recommended.

Upgraded from a Dell XPS 13 ubuntu machine, would never go back.

From the start, on the website things were positive. The layout was good, all the laptops and info was there and customizing the computer was easy and intuitive. ​ I was able to upgrade ram memory, cpu, graphics, hard drive, thermal tape and ordered an extra charger with US plug. All quality name brand upgrades. When finished I couldn't believe how reasonable the price was. Things got better when it was evident that customer service was a high priority and taken seriously. I had a few questions before I committed to a purchase. They were answered immediately and completely. I put in my order. Checkout was quick and easy. Now I just had to wait for it to arrive. I immediately received emails with my receipt and the details of my order. Next day came an email from Peter who answered all my previous emailed questions. He had reviewed my order and noticed that I was getting the amd ryzen chip. As there was only one offering with that chip, he was just making sure I intended to get that chip and not an Intel. I felt this was more good customer service. Now it has arrived ( in fantastic packaging and pristine condition ) and I could not be happier with my laptop!

Kan iedereen die wil overstappen naar Linux dit bedrijf aanbevelen. Ik ben overgestapt van Mac naar Linux en ben goed geholpen met advies, om een goede keuze te maken qua Distro en hardware. Top!!

I ordered a new laptop, and it was built to my exact specifications. It was easy to pick and choose what components I wanted, and the computer was delivered within one week. When I had a question I received an answer in less than 24 hours.

Tot nu toe lijkt het een geweldige machine te zijn. Er zijn maar twee minpuntjes waar ik aan kan denken: 1) De eerste keer dat ik de machine aanzette kon hij de muis en toetsenboard helemaal niet zien. Na een keer geforceerd uitzetten en opnieuw aanzetten is het niet meer gebeurd. Het is me nog niet duidelijk wat er aan de hand was. 2) Doordat AUX-IN en AUX-OUT geïntegreerd met elkaar zijn, heb je wat beperkingen in het gebruik van bijv. vergadering software in de browser (wel makkelijk op te lossen met een headset).

Easy ordering, quick delivery and really good after service as well.

It took less than 5 days to order it and get it in the US. The machine works well, I love the feeling of the lean system without extra add ons from the vendor. I had some setup issues initially, and called customer support in Netherland, to my surprise, they are beyond my expectation, knowledgeable and helpful.

Don't know about support yet, because I didn't need anything, but from ordering to receiving the product, everything was pleasant.

I'm very happy with the laptop I bought; and the service is also perfect.

It´s Linux - so it can´t be anything other than nice. Pity there´s no LED when charging and there is this tiny little screw nicely pocketed in a plastic bag (?), but other than that : so far, so good !

Bij de aankoop van de laptop is de werking uitgelegd, maar soms ging het te snel voor ons en vergaten we sommige aanwijzigingen. Bij het veranderen van het ww ging het fout. Gevraagd via mail hoe dit op te lossen. We kregen een link toegestuurd om in de grub menu te komen en alsnog het op te lossen. Helaas konden we niet in het grub menu komen, ondanks het precies opvolgen van de voorschriften. Wat nu? We hebben nog eens precies nagelopen wat we precies gedaan hadden bij het veranderen van het ww. We kwamen eruit en konden alsnog inloggen. We hopen het grub menu en de bios niet meer nodig te hebben, maar hebben wel een paar vragen hierover. Vragen: - Hoe kom je in het grub menu? - In het bios menu komen is geen probleem , maar de lay-out is volledig veranderd. Is er een handleiding hoe je te werk moet gaan? - Clevo NL51LU is onbekend, is daar meer informatie over? De laptop werkt uitstekend en heeft een mooi design. Vriendelijke Groet, Anneke en Joop
