Peter is a great person and very client oriented. My laptop was delivered to Republic of Moldova in 2 days! I have one small issue with the fan, but Peter sent me another one to replace(still in process). But that doesn't affect the customer service and the quality of product. Thank you very much!

This is the 2nd laptop and 3rd overall purchase I have made. The products are great and very high quality. The ordering and shipping process is as simple and quick as can be. The support after purchase from Peter Pont is outstanding.

There are two threads to this review: the company, and the machine that I purchased. Peter Pont, who seems to be at the sharp end of customer service at Laptop With Linux, is first rate. My particular situation was complex because of the import regulations in the country where I live, outside of Europe. Not only did I get advice and guidance on the selections of components for the laptop I ordered, but when delivery was greatly delayed (not a result of any action by the company--indeed, the machine was produced and shipped quickly), Peter went far out of his way to assist me with UPS when there was a hold up at the port of entry to my country. He went so far as to query his UPS account manager in The Netherlands, and then translated the email exchanges they had in Dutch into English for my benefit. I don't generally require hand holding, but Peter stayed with me through bureaucratic red tape until I got delivery of my purchase. I'd say it was exceptionally good service. I've only had the laptop for a few days, so it's probably too soon for me to say too much about it. However, it looks great and works great. It came with Manjaro loaded, but I immediately installed Garuda Linux, which is my distro of choice. Garuda works beautifully on the machine. I'm using the Zen kernel, which even the Garuda Wiki doesn't recommend for laptops, saying it's too bleeding edge, but it's working smooth as silk. Things happen almost instantly. The laptop is blasingly fast. A cold boot takes about 10 seconds to reach the login page, to offer a frame of reference. So far, I could not be more happy with my purchase. If that changes, I'll be back with an edit, but I'm expecting pure bliss. If you're thinking about buying a laptop, but are concerned that it's not a well known brand, don't be. You won't get better service anywhere else. If you don't like Clevo machines, you may need to look elsewhere, but that would be the only reason to do so.

The site offered the best options for Linux laptop configuration from the websites I found on the internet. There are various explained configurations for all parts of the system, even including basic Linux configuration and pre-installed software. They can recommend hardware if you seek a quiet laptop.

Very happy with my purchase, would definitely come back if I need a new laptop in future.

Het informeren naar de producten en andere technische vragen werden goed beantwoord. Wat ik merkte is dat de besturings systemen goed werden getest op de aangeboden hardware. Daarnaast kreeg ik echt het gevoel dat ze je graag een goed product willen leveren. Ik werd aangenaam verrast toen mij werd verteld dat er spoed achter de order werd gezet nadat ik vroeg of ik het al a.s. vrijdag zou kunnen gebruiken. Het was er de volgende dag al. Eenmaal ontvangen werd ik gegroet door tux op de splash screen en stond er een custom programmatje klaar om mijn LUKS encryptie af te stellen. Leuk bedrijf , goede service.

Laptop with Linux have provided really good service as the laptop was very configurable and the staff were happy to answer any questions I had before I ordered. The laptop arrived very quickly and as promised which was not the case from a well known company who kept on putting my shipping date back, this arrived on time and as specced and works brilliantly. They were also happy to answer a question I had about the bios once it arrived

Het contact is prima en als erg prettig ervaren. Vragen worden adequaat beantwoord, en de bestelling en levering is correct verlopen. Ook is de website is 'to the point' en overzichtelijk.

I bought the Clevo PC70DP laptop with Linux Mint preinstalled and i was disappointed: first of all the fan of the GPU spun too fast and constantly when the system was not overloaded. I tried to change the performance on NVIDIA settings to battery saving mode (which meant that the system would use the integrated Intel GPU), but it had no effect on the fan tuning, and later for some reason the GPU drivers uninstalled. I was unable to reinstall them, so i reinstalled Linux Mint using the USB given for free with the laptop: at that point the speakers stopped working, and, even after reinstalling the NVIDIA drivers, the GPU fan still spun too fast. At the end I had decided that this product was unreliable and i sent it back. My final vote is 1/5 just for the kind support i was given to fix the audio; can't give anymore stars because of the instabilities encountered.

My order arrived within 48 ours (to Switzerland). The protective packaging was superb, the best I have seen upto now. Can totally recommend and will order again when in need for more computers.

I've been looking for a new laptop for a while, but a lot of the vendors who provide Linux-friendly machines have been having supply shortages. But when I found out about Laptop with Linux, I checked out their site right away. I had the machine that I wanted designed in about 10 minutes, and it was exactly 7 days later that I received the laptop in my hands, shipped from The Netherlands to the USA! I couldn't be happier with the machine so far - it's sleek, fast, and came right out of the box ready to use. When I do need to order a new laptop, I know where I'll ordering mine from!

Although good service, the order was delayed and an item was missing.

This is the second laptop that I have bought from LwL: the first was for me, this the second one is for my wife. It's very convenient to get a laptop with the preferred version of Linux already installed. It boots quickly. The screen resolution is excellent. And it has all the virtues of a Linux operating system; and it is much faster than the MacBook Air that it replaces. Very happy.

Even kennismaken. Ik ben Kees Stevens, 86 jaar oud en verknocht aan mijn computer, maar heb geen of weinig kennis van de Engelse taal. Toen bij de overgang van Windows 95 naar 97 mijn nieuwe HP- dia-scanner niet meer werkte en zowel Microsoft als HP het lieten afweten, zocht ik een andere oplossing. Ik probeerde Linux Ubuntu; ik geloof versie 7.4. Dat bleek een gouden greep. Heel veel dingen werkten "out of the box", zelfs mijn HP-dia-scanner kreeg ik weer aan de praat. Toen na 12 jaar trouwe dienst mijn "IkBenStil-Desktop-PC" kuren begon te vertonen, zocht ik naar iets nieuws maar weer met Linux als besturingssysteem. Middels Google kwam ik op de website van "Laptopmetlinux.nl" terecht. Daar ontdekte ik de "Intel NUC 10i7FNH Linux Mini-Pc" Na telefonisch contact en veel prettig email-overleg met Peter Pont besloot ik tot de aanschaf hiervan. Woensdag 5 mei 2021 de Mini-Pc besteld, na wat vertraging bij UPS werd de bezorging maandag 10 mei 2021 uitgevoerd. Al met al toch heel erg snel vond ik. Maandag 10 mei is de Mini-Pc in goede orde ontvangen; in een klein pakket, maar de Pc-zelf is nog kleiner ;) De Mini-Pc zit nu veilig achter op mijn Medion-monitor gemonteerd . Dit alles met de standaard bijgeleverde VESA-montage-plaat. Er zijn voor mij keurig partities aangemaakt voor LinuxMint 19.3, ... LinuxMint 20.1,...en een /Home-partitie die in beide LinuxMint-systemen gebruikt wordt. "LaptopmetLinux.nl" verkocht mij niet alleen een fijne computer, maar Peter Pont hielp me ook geweldig goed met software-zaken. Hij hielp me oa met het 'geheel Nederlands-talig maken van het systeem. Ook gaf hij me aanwijzingen om het lettertype aan te passen en te vergroten wat voor mijn oude ogen heel prettig is. Kortom, ik ben zeer tevreden met de snelle levering van deze Mini-Pc en daarnaast ook heel blij met geweldige hulp van Peter Pont met de software-zaken. Ik kan iedereen die een fijne computer zoekt, dit bedrijf van harte aanbevelen !!!

Only minor issue was missing external drive, but that was resolved quickly and easily.

Went byond the call of duty to solve my OS requirement.

In short, when I get a new computer, I always need some period of time to acclimate myself to it. Weirdly, it was not the case here, was happy as soon as I received it (just wished the Shift right key would be a bit longer, but that's nothing). So very good product, and I had a question about my order, they answered promptly. Buying a computer is always a bit stressful, they made it as little stressful as possible ;) When I'll have to buy another computer, I'll clearly look there first.

I bought three Ultrabooks. Normally when you buy a computer from a vendor, especially a laptop, the price of the computer isn't bad but any upgrades cost 2-5x what you could buy them for. And the quality of the components is less than ideal, being knockoff cheap brands, sometimes not matching each other. Buying from LwL, the cost of the components they sold me is right in line with the same parts I could get from Amazon or Newegg, with the benefit of having already tested them before the computer ships. They're also completely transparent about what components come in, by name and model. They said Kingston RAM, I got Kingston RAM. They said Samsung NVMe SSDs, I got Samsung NVMe SSDs. They also do custom orders, I was able to order a Russian/ANSI-US keyboard, EU and US power cables at no extra charge. There's no other vendor I've found that will do that and not even blink. The biggest reason I will absolutely work with these guys in the future, and recommend them to anyone that will listen, is the after-sales support. I took the time to request a quote, as I was ordering three. There was one minor issue with one that would be easy to make on an assembly floor. To fix it from a name-brand company would involve sending the computer back, getting a replacement, potentially weeks of waiting. LwL, however, sent me a replacement part immediately, for me to install myself and return the original. There was no opening a case, convincing them that it needed fixed, RMA/exchange, or any of the other hassles you would expect. And their warranty allows for the buyer to do their own work or use their own shop, so long as the repair doesn't do any damage to the hardware. The fact that these computers are tested and distributed with Linux is the reason I chose them. But the cost and quality of parts and integrity of the people is what will keep me coming back.

Bought the Clevo NV41MZ after a lot of deliberation and comparing options from different manufacturers. I already have a work laptop and needed something for personal browsing and a little bit of hobby coding and learning on the side. I like that it comes unbranded, some other suppliers put their own branding on it and I'm not a fan.

Easy to choose from different configurations, quick response from inqueries about the payment, no incidents at all.
