Amazing experience, great speed of delivery, exactly what I wanted.

The laptop I ordered is exactly what I expected at a great price. The performance is on par with my MacBook pro. The shell and mouse pad are obviously worse than the titanium the MBP has, but it's $1500 cheaper, so of course there was a compromise somewhere! Regardless, despite international shipping, I got it within a week. Very happy!

Fast Machine, Precise Fulfillment, Great Price

I took a gamble and ordered my first Linux-native laptop, migrating away from years of MacOS "comfort"... After fruitful correspondence with actual knowledgeable responses, and a painless configuration and ordering process, I haven't noticed much of anything except a faster machine, lighter briefcase, and heavier wallet. In my circumstance (software engineering), it was a smooth-sailing non-event. Thank you. I should have gone this way before.

Bestelling is snel en goed afgehandeld en geleverd

Ik heb dertig jaar lang privé met Apple gewerkt en was via mijn werkgevers verplicht om eerst met MSDOS en later met Windows te werken. De macht en de honger naar privé gegevens van de tech reuzen begon mij steeds meer tegen te staan. Nadat ik eerst een tijd op een oude iMac met Linux heb geëxperimenteerd, heb ik de beslissing om over te stappen genomen. Ik heb Laptop met Linux via zoeken op Internet gevonden en zowel de bedrijfsfilosofie maar ook de keuze mogelijkheden mbt hardware en de distributie/voor geïnstalleerde software sprak me aan en dus heb ik de stap genomen. Computer uitgepakt, aangesloten en alles deed het zoals beloofd. Prima keuze!!

Prima bedrijf!

Mini-PC besteld, telefonisch doorgenomen wat ik er precies op wilde hebben. MS Teams is voor mij belangrijk, om mijn werk te kunnen doen -> dus gevraagd of ze dat wilden pre-installeren. Geen probleem. En inderdaad, de zending kwam netjes na 1 dag, stroom erop, scherm eraan, en gewoon werken!!

I am very impressed with this supplier

I am very pleased with my new laptop computer. It arrived on the promised date, and on time. The packaging was of a high quality and undamaged. I ordered a bare-bones machine, with no operating system or storage devices installed. The machine is now fully functioning with Linux Mint 20.1 installed. In addition to the on-board display panel, I am using a large monitor connected via the Display Port. Everything is perfect.

Awesome as always

Purchased a Mini for my parents after purchasing a laptop for myself recently. Once again, it arrived in the US only a few days after ordering. It was packed well! I set it up for my parents and it is really nice. Very fast, very quiet. Everything was installed like I asked. Peter Pont is great to work with, he is very responsive to questions and very pleasant.

Pity about the VAT

Can't complain about actual service from company so far, but having ordered it on Tuesday, with a delivery expected Thursday, I'm still waiting to get it because it's held up in UK customs for the VAT a week later! Not directly the vendor's fault but a warning on the sales page would have set expectations better. The company refunded the VAT charged almost immediately but that doesn't really help. The member of staff has started and they have no machine. You have to find a way around this chaps else you are going to lose UK sales.

Dear Ashley, Thank you very much for your feedback! We are very sorry to hear that you are not satisfied with the delay of the shipment at UK customs. Since the Brexit we have seen indications that there is a political game being played between the EU and the UK. Shipments to British consumers (individuals) arrive very quickly, namely 3 to 5 working days. This is due to the fact that we pay the VAT to UK customs directly when creating the shipping label. For business customers in the UK, this is different. As we are not registered for VAT in the UK, we deliver to business customers in the UK without VAT (like a regular international shipment). Otherwise, as a UK business, you cannot reclaim the VAT. The VAT amount is then determined by UK Customs based on the invoice we provide. This is normally done automatically and very quickly for international shipments. However, since the Brexit, all shipments from EU countries whereby the VAT was not paid in advance will be manually inspected by British Customs. This also happens here in the Netherlands with shipments coming from the UK. This is not the case for shipments to and from the US (so it has characteristics of a political nature). The transit time for business customers from the UK can sometimes be a few days longer because of this (and also COVID still doesn't help either). Not only is this an inconvenient issue, but shipping costs to the UK have also increased six-fold since 1 January 2021. Nevertheless, we find this very unfortunate and we would like to continue to deliver to our customers in the UK very much. We are therefore happy to welcome your feedback and look for an alternative or solution (at least providing a notice/warning for UK companies) to deal with this. Seamless, fast, and professional service

Ordered my laptop on Saturday afternoon and it arrived in London onWednesday. All worked perfectly out of the box. We all know that Linux is the best operating system, but that sometimes it can be a bit tricky for non-technical people like myself to install so that everything works without any niggles. very good experience: so far the only company that I could contact before buying a laptop that answered my questions and proposed me some clear explanations. Their website offer a great deal of configuration. After ordering I immediately received some updates about the status of the order. Shipment was quick and received laptop was in perfect quality. So far that is the best laptop that I bought with no OS pre-installed as I like.

Outstanding service and an excellent laptop

I am a new Linux user and so far the experience has been fantastic. I ordered the NV41MZ 14 inch model and the laptop arrived in perfect condition. The display is bright and crisp, Linux Mint is smooth and very good for those transitioning from Windows and learning how to use the terminal is not that hard as I thought. Software updates are regular and not intrusive and I even like the touch of the keyboard. This was a bit of a gamble for me but I can say that this is a very serious company with excellent laptops and customer service. Will definitely come back in a couple of years when upgrading is required.

Medewerkers zijn vriendelijke en makkelijk toegankelijk. Zo heb ik met Peter Pont zowel via mail als telefonisch contact gehad, mijn ervaring met Peter is erg behulpzaam en kundig. -- Aandachtspunt: het zou handig zijn om klanten een overzicht te geven hoe te booten vanuit USB, root passwd op USB, waar op de HD de backups van superblock zich bevinden, ed. Scheelt enorm veel tijd om te herstellen bij een crash. Is mij overkomen in paasweekend doordat batterij leeg was. De fabrikant van Clevo en/of Ubuntu zou dit kunnen voorkomen door actie te nemen voordat batterij volledig leeg is (daemon charger manager). Voorbeeld hoe je dit elegant oplost: Apple.
