Went byond the call of duty to solve my OS requirement.

In short, when I get a new computer, I always need some period of time to acclimate myself to it. Weirdly, it was not the case here, was happy as soon as I received it (just wished the Shift right key would be a bit longer, but that's nothing). So very good product, and I had a question about my order, they answered promptly. Buying a computer is always a bit stressful, they made it as little stressful as possible ;) When I'll have to buy another computer, I'll clearly look there first.

I bought three Ultrabooks. Normally when you buy a computer from a vendor, especially a laptop, the price of the computer isn't bad but any upgrades cost 2-5x what you could buy them for. And the quality of the components is less than ideal, being knockoff cheap brands, sometimes not matching each other. Buying from LwL, the cost of the components they sold me is right in line with the same parts I could get from Amazon or Newegg, with the benefit of having already tested them before the computer ships. They're also completely transparent about what components come in, by name and model. They said Kingston RAM, I got Kingston RAM. They said Samsung NVMe SSDs, I got Samsung NVMe SSDs. They also do custom orders, I was able to order a Russian/ANSI-US keyboard, EU and US power cables at no extra charge. There's no other vendor I've found that will do that and not even blink. The biggest reason I will absolutely work with these guys in the future, and recommend them to anyone that will listen, is the after-sales support. I took the time to request a quote, as I was ordering three. There was one minor issue with one that would be easy to make on an assembly floor. To fix it from a name-brand company would involve sending the computer back, getting a replacement, potentially weeks of waiting. LwL, however, sent me a replacement part immediately, for me to install myself and return the original. There was no opening a case, convincing them that it needed fixed, RMA/exchange, or any of the other hassles you would expect. And their warranty allows for the buyer to do their own work or use their own shop, so long as the repair doesn't do any damage to the hardware. The fact that these computers are tested and distributed with Linux is the reason I chose them. But the cost and quality of parts and integrity of the people is what will keep me coming back.

Bought the Clevo NV41MZ after a lot of deliberation and comparing options from different manufacturers. I already have a work laptop and needed something for personal browsing and a little bit of hobby coding and learning on the side. I like that it comes unbranded, some other suppliers put their own branding on it and I'm not a fan.

The laptop I ordered is exactly what I expected at a great price. The performance is on par with my MacBook pro. The shell and mouse pad are obviously worse than the titanium the MBP has, but it's $1500 cheaper, so of course there was a compromise somewhere! Regardless, despite international shipping, I got it within a week. Very happy!

I took a gamble and ordered my first Linux-native laptop, migrating away from years of MacOS "comfort"... After fruitful correspondence with actual knowledgeable responses, and a painless configuration and ordering process, I haven't noticed much of anything except a faster machine, lighter briefcase, and heavier wallet. In my circumstance (software engineering), it was a smooth-sailing non-event. Thank you. I should have gone this way before.

After a delay of 4-5 months I ordered an other type of processor. They gave me a discount for the new configuration and the laptop arrived 4 weeks later. Everything is fine.

Ik heb dertig jaar lang privé met Apple gewerkt en was via mijn werkgevers verplicht om eerst met MSDOS en later met Windows te werken. De macht en de honger naar privé gegevens van de tech reuzen begon mij steeds meer tegen te staan. Nadat ik eerst een tijd op een oude iMac met Linux heb geëxperimenteerd, heb ik de beslissing om over te stappen genomen. Ik heb Laptop met Linux via zoeken op Internet gevonden en zowel de bedrijfsfilosofie maar ook de keuze mogelijkheden mbt hardware en de distributie/voor geïnstalleerde software sprak me aan en dus heb ik de stap genomen. Computer uitgepakt, aangesloten en alles deed het zoals beloofd. Prima keuze!!

Just got the Intel NUC with Manjaro on top of it. I'm stoked. Can't wait to open it up. The configuration is spot on!

Mini-PC besteld, telefonisch doorgenomen wat ik er precies op wilde hebben. MS Teams is voor mij belangrijk, om mijn werk te kunnen doen -> dus gevraagd of ze dat wilden pre-installeren. Geen probleem. En inderdaad, de zending kwam netjes na 1 dag, stroom erop, scherm eraan, en gewoon werken!!

I am very pleased with my new laptop computer. It arrived on the promised date, and on time. The packaging was of a high quality and undamaged. I ordered a bare-bones machine, with no operating system or storage devices installed. The machine is now fully functioning with Linux Mint 20.1 installed. In addition to the on-board display panel, I am using a large monitor connected via the Display Port. Everything is perfect.

Purchased a Mini for my parents after purchasing a laptop for myself recently. Once again, it arrived in the US only a few days after ordering. It was packed well! I set it up for my parents and it is really nice. Very fast, very quiet. Everything was installed like I asked. Peter Pont is great to work with, he is very responsive to questions and very pleasant.

Can't complain about actual service from company so far, but having ordered it on Tuesday, with a delivery expected Thursday, I'm still waiting to get it because it's held up in UK customs for the VAT a week later! Not directly the vendor's fault but a warning on the sales page would have set expectations better. The company refunded the VAT charged almost immediately but that doesn't really help. The member of staff has started and they have no machine. You have to find a way around this chaps else you are going to lose UK sales.

Ordered my laptop on Saturday afternoon and it arrived in London onWednesday. All worked perfectly out of the box. We all know that Linux is the best operating system, but that sometimes it can be a bit tricky for non-technical people like myself to install so that everything works without any niggles. Thanks to Laptops with Linux that has all been taken care of, and I have been able to get straight to work on my fast, elegant new laptop!
