I've bought an ultrabook for local AI/LLM deployment; it was assembled and shipped very quickly, and with expedited shipping I received it within 3 days of ordering. Peter was extremely helpful both before and after the purchase, helping me with the installation and configuration of AMD ROCm and Ollama, even though they weren't included in their standard offering.

This is my first laptop with the Linux O.S. Issues I've had so far: can't run my printer driver software; can't run Zulip for Linux software; no sound or video on my first Zoom call. IT support has been patient and helpful but they assume I know more than I do so a lot of back and forth in emails. I want to avoid a Windows O.S. but if I can't get the issues resolved, the laptop is going back within the 14 day window. You need tech support in the U.S. so I can TALK to someone.

Prima laptop

I called LaptopwithLinux with a display problem I had with a laptop that was out of warranty. No problem, LWL support offered advice on how to get back the display. After changing the boot manager, I ended up reinstalling the system. That worked. I went ahead and bought a NUC box, with the latest Ubuntu Studio. It arrived in 2 days, no problems with set up. I went back to install the new version, 24.04 on the original laptop, just to be sure. Now I have identical systems, just to be sure of backup.

Goede begeleiding bij overstap van Microsoft- en Windowsomgeving naar Linux. Veel kennis over gelijkwaardige applicaties en goed advies over de juist Linux versie voor mijn toepassingen. De voor geïnstalleerde laptop werkte direct en probleemloos. Contact met helpdesk is vriendelijk, vakkundig en de reactietijd op een vraag is zeer kort. Prima service!

Laptop eenvoudig op de site naar wens aan te passen, ik wilde nog wat dingen overwegen waarbij er per mail werd meegedacht. Snelle levering, voorinstallatie prima. Erg prettig dat je OS en opties als LUKS gewoon kunt kiezen, zodat je meteen aan de slag kunt. TongFang GX5 X5SP4NAG moest mijn 10 jaar oude HP Elitebook vervangen. Nooit een barebone gekocht, dus dat was een gok. Maar de bouwkwaliteit, scherm en het geluid vallen zeker niet tegen.

Very thoughtful, helpful and even generous team. I had ordered an EU plug, but since I live in Denmark the team reached out to me to ask if this was on purpose. It was, since EU plugs work in Denmark, but just to be safe they sent me both the EU and DK plug without extra charge. There was a slight misspelling of the encryption key for my LUKS encryption, but this was quickly resolved as well, since they get back to you quickly. Would absolutely recommend

Were I to build the machine i have now in the US, it would be a few thousand bucks, and i'd have to uninstall windows and install the Linux distro i wanted. Laptop with Linux made the customization process so easy and within my budget and offered a wide selection of distros for pre-installation, and even threw in a boot USB. Packaging for international shipping was well done and it was very well protected, and came with insurance. I received it relatively quickly and had no issues with DHL, their chosen shipping merchant, unlike other companies i've had products shipped with. My machine works great, working on it feels great, and it fits my needs exactly. Thanks!

There is a problem with the Audacity program, so if you have an idea why the recording control is stuck at 100%, I would be happy.
