Found Latopwithlinux via searching for highly-rated companies offering just what their name suggests: Laptops for(/with) Linux. Then found a Laptop which almost perfectly fitted with my requirements and desires. It indeed is working almost flawlessly, the few glitches shouldn't surprise anyone familar with Linux (and are all quite minor (some also easily solved / worked-around)). Pricing is reasonable, they are in the EU (€ plus no import hassles). The order including all requested customisations was executed as soon as payment received (as stated), and shipped a bit sooner than I was expecting (which is fine!). Customer service / Support seems good (I've had nothing but simple questions they have immediately (often within the hour)) responded to in a useful manner.

My new laptop is great, everything I've been looking for, and then some. Backlit keyboard, good keys (chicklet,) bright screen. And delivery was a lot faster than I expected, 15 days from Netherlands to Salt Lake City.

I placed my order on a Wednesday morning, it was completed 24 hours later and shipped that day. Delivery was advised as the following Monday, and that was when I received the laptop, configured exactly as I had asked. All I can say in conclusion is that I wish all suppliers were as efficient. I bought a Clevo laptop a couple of weeks ago. The service was good, I got notified the parcel was coming multiple times. It arrived on time and packaged with a FRAGILE stamp. The laptop seems to go really well!

Too early to judge the laptop, I've been using it for 3 days, but everything is better than expected until now.

Pluspunten: - De website zit goed in elkaar. Zelf een laptop samenstellen is voor computernerds wel fijn, maar voor een leek als ik had het makkelijk verwarrend of overweldigend kunnen worden. Maar dat was hier niet het geval. - De laptop was mooi op tijd aangeleverd. - De laptop doet het goed. Minpunten: - De gebruikersaanwijzing en drivers zitten op een cd. De laptop heeft geen cd speler. Dit is niet bepaald handig. Ook werd er een vierkant stuk gel meegeleverd waarvan ik geen flauw idee heb wat het is of wat ik ermee moet.

I couldn't be happier with my Tongfang PF5NU1G 15.6" AMD! Peter has been very helpful from the beginning of the process, answering all my questions, until I got the laptop in my hands. He even managed to reply to other questions in a timely manner long after I had received my laptop. Best customer experience I ever had! Finally, a bit of evangelism for the rest of you: use NixOS ;)

Prima communicatie, levering & produkt

In het begin vond ik het best wel risico om bij een onbekend bedrijf een goeie developers laptop te kopen maar vanaf het eerste moment werkt ik goed geholpen en had direct contact via whatsapp waar ook gewoon in het weekend savonds laat gereageerd werd. Ik had me voorwaardes opgegeven en ze kwamen al snel met een laptop. De laptop werd netjes afgeleverd binnen de aangegeven bezorgtijd en de laptop voldoet perfect aan me eisen. Na de bezorgen had ik nog wat vragen en daar werd gewoon via whatsapp direct op gereageerd. Het is een goed bedrijf met een goeie service en met mensen die verstand hebben van linux en computers een combinatie die je helaas niet veel meer ziet.

Ordinateur très silencieux, performant sous debian. Assemblage et qualité des matériaux sont appréciables. Cependant le son n'est pas bon et l'autonomie est loin d'atteindre les promesses annoncées (mais cela doit dépendre de l'OS). Livraison rapide

Ik verwachtte een laptop met mijn gekozen linux distributie, met mijn gekozen hardware. De laptop was geinstalleerd met de programma's die ik had aangegeven. Aan mijn verwachtingen werd dus voldaan. Ik zou hem hier halen.

Ordering was easy, laptop came within the time period specified and its configuration was as I ordered. I've had one support query which was answered within a day.

System: NUC with i7 processor; 8*Gb. Ram: 500GB SSD. Linux Mint 20: Yes, I could have built this myself more cheaply if it weren't for significant manipulation difficulties on my part. I'm glad I opted for "Laptop met Linux" since I have a superbly rapid system with a three year warranty. If I had opted for the self build option there's every chance I would have damaged vital components.
