This is a replacement for a failed gas spring. The specification matched well and the exchange was simple as everything was exactly as described. Other replacements have a smaller thread so would have needed an adapter or reworking of the fittings. It arrived quickly so the job is finished and working well. Thanks.

Found a replacement part easily on the website. The rellacement is not 100% identical to the 15 year old original. But that was explained well on the website prior to purchase and minor modification easily made to fit the part.

Only thing lacking was i didnt get an email ot text stating what i had ordered or one to say it was dispatched. Otherwsie spot on.

Excellent product, delivered quickly. Online calculator is brilliant. I was looking for struts to hold up a folding shed roof a little like a car boot lid, going from vertical to horizontal. I had looked on Amazon and found very mixed reviews and was not willing to chance it as it would be a major safety concern. The Calculator tool on the GasSpringShop website is amazing, it made so much sense. Really easy to work out exactly what I needed and gave exact fitment instructions too. More expensive than Amazon, but I got exactly what I ordered and they were perfect. No having to to "test things out, send it back, try again". Worked first time, no messing about. Highly recommend.

The items were not the cheapest but they were delivered quickly and were fitted to the dimensions stated and worked fine. They looked well made but ask me in 3 years if they are still okay.
