Having never bought a gas spring before. I I went to Gasspringshop.co.uk, typed in angles, dimensions and weights, it did the calculation. The spring arrived next day. I installed it the next day. ‘Feel like I’ve got somewhere.

On line info was better than most but I needed a generic to replace a larder cupboard closer. Length of extension and force was there but the body was 2 cm shorter than the original. It took an hour to make an extension. Then it's fine

I needed a gas-strut fir my roof hatch. The on-line calculator helped me choose the correct strut and attachments. I installed it and it works perfectly. The bespoke instructions for fitting were also really helpful, setting out the correct angles and positions. The website allowed fir either one or two struts, I used just one and it works perfectly.

I was looking to replace an old gas strut and the Gassprings site enabled me to input the specification into their web page and identify the replacement. It was quick and simple. The price was reasonable and the new gas strut was delivered just 2 working days later. It's now fixed to my kitchen unit and functioning perfectly, so everything is good.

The gas strut on my motorhome habitation door seized recently so I was searching for a replacement. After lots of time on google I came across Gasspringsshop and found what I was looking for. With all the dimensions available it was easy to select the item I needed and it was at a reasonable price. The only reason for dropping from 5 stars was due to the delivery, which was not as good as it could have been.

I needed a short gas strut for a Miele kitchen warming drawer. I managed to obtain one that was a perfect replacement for the official Miele spare part at less than half the price. Very accurate description of the part in the website and the ability to order a replacement based on the manufacturer of the original really helped.
