Once fitted as per instructions the hatch would not open to the desired degrees or close properly, and over sprung hatch wont stay closed. And i double checked all info i i inputted to the calculator.

We do manhole covers, some of which are hinged. With the online calculator, it makes it so easy to design my cover and then let the calculator do the hard work of locating the strut mounting points and the lifting force required. A job which used to take us a couple of days can be done in hours now!

Put the measurements in the calculator, looked at the results, placed an order. Springs arrived. They seemed rock hard. Worried slightly. Fitted as per drawing. Worked marvellously. 40kg lid know lifts and lowers with a single finger.

Excellent service from the Company and although there was an issue with the Postal service at the time they dealt quickly to ensure I received the ordered goods.

After placing of order, and prompt delivery, I have received defective (damaged in transit?) goods. On informing the provider, via 2 separate e-mail address's, 3 days ago I have yet to receive any response other than this request for a customer review. The items ordered, and delivered not fit for use, are important to me and I needed to receive information promptly on their replacement, that fact I haven't received any communication at all is reflected in this review

I have a large heavy bar flap that I was wondering how to safely open and close, I stumbled across the Gasspring shop and was surprised to see the tool to put my job into and for it to make a recommendation I filled it in multiple times as I just didn’t believe the recommendation for layout and size of strut but when I Double and triple checked everything and it kept coming up with the same layout and strut I ordered……next surprise was the struts with correct brackets arrived three days later along with the diagram of my job fully dimensioned, it fitted exactly to the measurements given and worked perfectly first time without need to adjust. Can’t recommend enough and only wish I had more applications…very satisfied.

There was some delay caused by DHL deliveries, but I was kept informed throughout. Super product, just what I needed.

Initially sent photos and a description of the work piece that the gas struts were to be fitted too. Then I was instructed to use the online calculation tool with exact requirements. Once I'd mastered the tool it was very easy. So ordered the struts that it said I needed and they arrived in 2 days and fitted them straight away and they work brilliantly. Very Very impressed and I would definitely use the gas spring shop again 10 out of 10
