Needed a unique gas-spring for a classic car. Designed it with ease using the excellent tools on the informative website. It arrived two days later, very well packaged.

The process of measuring and identifying the right spring for my bespoke purpose was reassuringly complex (I thought it wouldn't be as simple as get one from an old hatchback). But it was easy to fit (given the instructions) and was plenty powerful enough for my purpose - a little more powerful than expected so I needed to fit a catch to hold the 20kg lid down. I'm very happy with the outcome and my ageing wife no longer needs serious muscles to open that lid. Marvellous !

I had no idea what I was looking for in terms of finding a replacement piston for my mums old hydraulic sewing machine cabinet...which was no longer hydraulic!!! I had tried several online companies for help, and nobody responded. I discovered Gasspringshop by default, but I’m so glad that I did. Mark responded almost immediately to my plea for help and guided me through the process of trying to find an alternative to the piston that needed replacement, as the original was no longer showing as being available anywhere else, other than Australia! He provided a useful diagram to help with deciding which one I needed, which I ordered. I was totally astonished for it to arrive the next day!! I’ve yet to get it fitted to see if it is the correct fit, but fingers crossed it will do the job and make using my sewing machine so much easier. Either way, the online customer service was excellent, not something that you generally find today, and I can highly recommend them as a company. Thank you for all the assistance.

Great website where i found a replacement gas strut for my Shrink wrap machine in minutes. Placed my order with ease & item was delivered in 2 days. I would certainly recommend and would use again.

I found calculating the correct size and strength of the gas strut I required was easy, the turnaround from placing order to receiving the goods was so quick and installing the gas strut wasn't too difficult.

The initial order I placed was incorrectly supplied but the team rectified this immediately with no quibbles. Outstanding service. Thanks so much.

My only reservation is the length of the threaded portion which limits the range of attachments.
