I ordered a set of gas lift springs to fit on a canteen stay window. I rang the following day as I realised I’d made an error (not doubling the weight) and Dave was so helpful and patient in going through and checking most of the requirements. This ensured that what arrived was correct and avoided a costly mistake. The item also arrived quickly, so could be fitted in good time.

I ordered a gas strut using the configurator and got exactly what I ordered. Very happy.

The simulation software on the website is great and really put my mind at rest when buying some gas struts. It made the whole time simple and painless. Then to cap it off I got a delivery the following day which was great. I've not fitted them as yet so can't confirm how accurate the simulation was but I'm sure it'll be a lot better than my guess. I'm looking forward to getting them fitted and trying it out.

In the field of gas springs they are the best, in my opinion. I think the website is particularly easy to navigate with a wealth of useful information. The icing on the cake is their Calculation programme which simulates real life situations and calculates what gas spring to use and how it should be installed and demonstrates a particular application working.... Brilliant!

Needed struts to lift a caravan bed base. The online calculator did all the hard work.

The quality of the product was excellent. However, the only issue was the calculator. You had to click through dozens of options to find one that could be mounted at the right points. It then only gave the force after I ordered. The force was extremely large and really damaged the frame it was mounted to. Once it was rebuilt and reinforced, it worked very well. I need to order several more for different size applications, so would be good if the calculator could be improved to just show the springs that will work, the force and key mounting points length (A, C, D)

I've logged in to the portal and there is no indication on my order of who is delivering it and when it's due. I've also searched my emails and can't find any emails about it.

I used the online instructions and calculator to configure a pair of gas struts for my project, an opening canopy in an outside room. The calculator needs a lot of measurements and I was a bit confused about the weight part at first. I wasn’t sure if I was supposed to input the weight at the centre of gravity of the canopy fully open or the end. However I finally worked it out from the help and the video. The calculation includes a fitting diagram with measurements and a simulation showing the forces needed to open and close the canopy. I found these a little tricky to transfer to my canopy as it is installed and had to use a plumb line to find the C point. During the configuration process you choose the appropriate end fittings noting that the rod ends must be lower that the main body to allow oil to run down to the seals. Once installed the gas struts worked perfectly, according to the simulation. The struts are beautifully made and look very good. Very pleased with the outcome.

Prior to purchase I required some technical support to identify the correct combination of parts to replace gas struts. This was provided via email and following the placement of the order online, items were received within 2 days - excellent service

i phoned up with an enquiry and was talked through the process on the website, the part arrived a couple of days later and does exactly what what i need it to.

I spoke with a person in the technical support department and he was very helpful in suggesting ways to either repair or replace a non-standard gas spring with broken end fittings, that had been supplied by another company, now defunct. I thought I would have to order a custom gas spring (at a high cost and with a long lead time), but he took time to offer other options. Based on his ideas, I was able to order suitable end fittings in a combination that gave the correct total length for my existing gas spring. They arrived quickly and I was able to solve my problem promptly and at minimum cost.
