Finding the right sized shocks was easy and great. The receiving the shocks wasn’t great thought they would have gave tracking number when I placed order but had to contact customer service to get it. Then when it showed up when I wasn’t there, there was only one of two shocks in package. Gas spring customer service wasn’t great, couldn’t talk to a person on phone and got a short email not addressing fully what I was concerned about. I just expected more from a company who specialized in selling shocks and shipping them all over to maybe re-enforce the box to avoid this issue.
I have sent 3 emails trying to tell you that you sent me the wrong product starting march 12. I am waiting for a response so we can resolve this situation

It's deceiving because they have a dot ca web address, but everything is in US dollars. Canadians will also have to pay duty to bring it across the border. The good thing is that they have an excellent calculator online for figuring out which gas springs you need as per your application. There was no way to track the order. I contacted them twice as to the shipping status, but they didn't reply in a timely manner. They finally replied after I had received the order. This was frustrating!

I had to email customer service to get updates on my order. The item was listed as available on the website, once i had ordered I was notified it was backordered for a number of weeks. After that the only communication i recieved about the order was when I initiated contact. Updates on order filling, tracking and delivery should be automatic and they were not.

I used the door swing program and calculator - we have all the weights and sizes computed from our F360 and shop floor scale... however the gas springs @ 140N as calculated did not hold the door up so I have re-ordered in 180N. We will be able to find an application for the wrong smaller gas springs in the future but purchasing twice was a let down. That being said, the online calculator is a great tool and kept this review at 3 stars.
