The Gassprings I ordered are a replacement part for an Italian glass drill. It is the exact part and the same German manufacturer. We didn't have to wait a long time from Italy and a high price because they are made in USA. Received my order in 5 days shipped to Canada. The gas shocks come in many sizes, strengths and many types of attachments. Great product great price.

Product and design tools are great. Have also purchased from Gasspring in the U.S., however my recent transaction in Canada was disappointing. Delays and incorrect guidance by customer service in what thought was a cancelled first attempt to order, resulted in a two identical orders being placed, and an additional $30 charge to ship one back to them in N.C.

Company seems good. Website has everything you could imagine for gas springs/shocks. Would be nice if it was easier to find accessories or alternate fastening connections for the ends of the shocks.

I have a problem with the gas struts which do not hold the cover open. I attempted to have a discussion as to why and how I could adjust my design, but I never got a clear answer except "return them", after weeks of waiting and request for answers. So I did return them, and now, still no answer. I don't even know if I'm getting refunded or will a new pair be sent to me.

I have use GasSpring twice now for different projects, both times the product arrived exactly as order and within one week (we live in Toronto, Canada - without extra duty charges). The online gas spring piston calculator on their website worked perfectly and was very helpful - the piston that arrived worked exactly as predicted by the calculator.
