Product and design tools are great. Have also purchased from Gasspring in the U.S., however my recent transaction in Canada was disappointing. Delays and incorrect guidance by customer service in what thought was a cancelled first attempt to order, resulted in a two identical orders being placed, and an additional $30 charge to ship one back to them in N.C.

Company seems good. Website has everything you could imagine for gas springs/shocks. Would be nice if it was easier to find accessories or alternate fastening connections for the ends of the shocks.

I have a problem with the gas struts which do not hold the cover open. I attempted to have a discussion as to why and how I could adjust my design, but I never got a clear answer except "return them", after weeks of waiting and request for answers. So I did return them, and now, still no answer. I don't even know if I'm getting refunded or will a new pair be sent to me.

I have use GasSpring twice now for different projects, both times the product arrived exactly as order and within one week (we live in Toronto, Canada - without extra duty charges). The online gas spring piston calculator on their website worked perfectly and was very helpful - the piston that arrived worked exactly as predicted by the calculator.

Fast Shipping to Canada! They have a convenient tool to calculate the required gas spring size for custom diy applications making it even easier I had been seeking for a very small size gas spring 3-4 inch for my own diy project and they had it and fit perfect !!!! Minus a star: The website ssl certificate was giving me an error so I was skeptic but the transaction seems to have been encrypted anyhow over https just that the certificate is not accepted by the browser. Also the price tag is a bit on the hefty side for mini struts.

Struts fit and work perfectly

Ref: Order #WS11577CA was placed on June 5, 2023 Parts ordered June 5th and no information has been forthcoming despite attempts to find out what is going on. Parts were quoted as being available from stock and yet, (2)weeks later, crickets.

I was looking for a specific gas strut to replace the previous one I had. I needed specific length and force with open eye lid at both end. Gasspring was the only site where I could find it after weeks of research. The only downside is the price, way more expensive than the other products I was looking at along the way.

I made a wrong first order and the second one was good. I sent back the first das spring. Unable to reach somebody by phone or email ! I am still waiting an answer to get reimbursed for the item I did sent back.
