The Steve donner/doffer has given me back my independence as I am able to put on my compression hose alone and take off at night. Being able to get ready for bed and start your day without help is something people take for granted & after trying a different product for much cheaper that did not work - I tried this one with the 30 day warranty and am so glad I spent the money!! People couldn’t believe I ordered this from Amsterdam. My equipment was delivered promptly. I was not able to put on and take off my stockings with the doffer I originally. I had a part fail about a year after my purchase and the company immediately replaced it under full warranty. I am totally pleased with the product and with their service.

I am a lymphedema therapist in Florida and this has solved a lot of problems associated with my patients struggles with donning/doffing compression. Getting stuck in compression garments is scary for patients with decreased mobility who care for themselves and this solves that issue, as well. It is fantastic. Thanks Steve! The Steve is a great help to all of us who for health reasons have to wear supports stockings. I have had mine for almost a year provided by our NHS. It is surprisingly robust and brightly coloured bringing a smile every time I use it. Rev Paul Moxon Otley Uk

Unfortunately I ordered medium size and ought to have followed your measurements and ordered small.

Excellent service and superior quality

Although I had a problem with this product because I use 30-40mg compression stockings, I believe it would work for lower compression stockings or with assistance from a caregiver or companion.

This will give my Father a greater sense of independence to put his socks on by himself, which he has great difficulty with! That is important for such a stubborn person like my father, who wants to do everything himself.

Delivered in a timely manner. No problems putting donner together. Buttons are hard to press because of arthritis in hands. Would recommend as far as usefulness of product.

Had a little trouble stretching my stockings onto the large stockingaid, but went on my leg ok.

I could not get the stocking aid to work for me based on the size that was recommended so I contacted the company for assistance. It took awhile since they are not in the US, but they responded with a full refund and directions for returning the stocking aid. I am very pleased with their service.

This Compression stocking donner is such a great help- it is well designed, durable, and comes in a variety of sizes (not everyone has small legs and ankles). Truthfully it was a bit of a challenge to figure out the best way to use it effectively with an ankle that doesn't bend much but by watching the videos a couple of times and some trial and error we have been able to get the stockings on far more quickly, easily, and with much less discomfort than with previous methods. It is a real relief to not need to bring someone else in to help with getting dressed in the morning. Thank you.

The stocking aid is designed for small and medium calves. Larger legs are squeezed and painful while using the aid. Even trying to place the loop on the leg is impossible. You may have a larger unit now, but you did not when I ordered mine a few years back. A large majority of those requiring the use of compression stocking or the use of an "aid" for regular stocking have edema, are elderly, have had surgery to their backs or hips, are diabetic or obese. In the case of edema and obesity frequently we need larger size aids. In the case of diabetics, not scraping the skin is very important, so a proper fitting "aid" is essential. For those of us who are elderly, obese and have had limiting back surgery we have more issues to deal with in using your product. The handles on the aid come strait up and they should be angled down as the come up toward the torso, so we don't have to torque our backs or stretch so far forward to pull up on the socks Any one or two size "fits all" for stocking aids in general, does not work. For my husbands small calves, this aid works fine. I said "Yes" to recommending this aid, but only for those with smaller legs and no issues where rubbing would be a problem.

I Initially gave The Steve a bad review because it was over a month and i still hadn't received it and had nothing to review. It finally came in today and I love it. I can't bend very well and The Steve is the perfect answer. It was worth the wait although I didn't like the wait I would order it again. If you can't bend this is the answer for you.

I was not able to put on my compression socks until I started using the Steve Plus. It was quite easy to learn how to use it.

The order took longer than I expected to be delivered.Customers should be given the option to pay extra for Express delivery as this equipment is likely more often than not to be required urgently . As a redesign feature "a pair of little wheels" added to the front of the equipment would make the application of the stockings go much more smoothly for odd shaped feet, ankles or legs. Some written/visual advice for applications where bandages/swabs etc need to be accommodated. Regards, Norman Royal.
