The instructions were concise and worked well. The gas springs work amazingly. A little more guidance on the placement of the gas springs on the lid itself and bin would have helped but trial and error prevailed. 22 years lifting a heavy lid and holding it open is now made easier. This was a problem that Gasspringshop solved like a lift gate on a car. Quite a bit of research on the internet led me to them. By far the best solution. I had a heavy lid that took 2 hands of muscle to lift. It had to be held open too to avoid slamming shut Now it is a one hand lift and stays open without being held. Thank you,

The spring strut was just what I needed for a project. Ordering was easy and shipping was great. The only reason I did not give the full five star rating is because parts for the strut were not in stock and it took several weeks before they could ship the strut to me.

Had to replace heavy duty gas struts on an old European made piece of equipment. Original parts were impossible or very expensive to get. Only here could an accurate match be found at a reasonable price in just a few minutes. Thanks

5* product. I was on a tight time schedule to have it delivered to a particular address. The website clearly stated that products that were in stock would ship in one day and the product was listed as in stock so I expected a quick send. When a few days had gone by and no shipping information had arrived. I tried to find out what was going on, and I reached out to the company via email, via message, via phone. I received no response so I canceled the order which also went unnoticed until the order was ready to ship. At which point, we squared things away to ship to a different address and voilà, I got it. As I said, good product, poor communication. I would recommend you, with the caveat that this company doesn’t communicate very well.

Ordered springs and hardware on line in mid April. Thought I would have my orders in a week. Everything showed in stock online. After a 2 weeks went by I still haven't received my orders. Called in and was told they are on back order. I did not receive any communication that my orders will not be fulfilled due to back order. So I wait for my orders for almost 2 months and still have not received an email with tracking info. I call in to check on the orders to find out they have been delivered. Company needs to implement better communication vie email for updated info on customers orders.

Measuring and trying to find the right fit was a little difficult when showed up was longer than expected but luckily fit good and operates great. will be buying from these guys again.

I found the website easy to use and appreciated the in-depth tutorials and assistance with engineering the springs I needed for my project. The springs arrived in good condition, close to the expected time frame, and worked as expected. As a business professional I found the lack of a phone number for immediate customer service incredibly frustrating. Emailed queries receive responses within 1-2 business days, however that is quite a delay, particularly when there are follow up questions. Additionally, the communication after my order was placed was a bit lacking. A estimated ship date and tracking number should have been provided automatically, instead I had to email requesting that info and wait 2 days for the response. Overall a good experience, and I would purchase through them again, but a few simple improvements could be made.

I ordered a gas spring strut and received it quickly. It was too strong for my application which was not their fault. I ordered another one rated at 60N instead of 80N and was very satisfied with the performance of the strut. The struts are well made and were packaged very well so they arrived with no damage. I was very pleased with the process of ordering to delivery.

I was unsure on using the configure tool on your website, therefore, I called customer service to ask for help. The lady that answered said she could not help, but would have someone call from applications. I never received a call about my request. I placed an order and the ends you sent were wrong size for my application. I tried to contact customer service for assistance and all they would say is for me to pay to ship the parts back and order the correct. I ask to make sure I order the correct ones and ask for a break on the shipping and I can’t get an answer. Amanda with customer service sent an email through Joe that essentially says any mistakes made by the customer on the website is the customers problem. Really frustrating I can not get help to make sure I do not order the wrong product. It takes forever to get a response from customer service as well.

I have several different struts that I have needed over the years that are typically Hahn from Europe. Through specialty trailer shops they can be very expensive. Gassspringsshop.com often has the exact replacement I have needed and at a reasonable price with quick delivery. Nice to just have a bolt on solution rather than trying to modify geometry or installations for another brand.
